Title — You couldn't tell this car makes less than 200 horses. Quick throttle response and awesome acceleration. Car feels solid. Handling is point-and-go. Have not had enough time to find out how far I'd have to reach into my pocket to maintain it but since BMW has opened a plant in the US it shouldn't be a a bank breaker. FUN, SUPER FUN!!!.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything.

Cons: Not a 330.

You Get What You Pay For, Great Design But A 320d With An Auto Gearbox Would Be Better. — Its actually a 318d. Great drive but gearbox has a suprisingly large travel. Great to drive on motorway and country roads, very safe feeling car with brilliant fuel economy, 48mpg with no effort. Plenty of room and hides its age and miles very well.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The comfort and driving experience.

Cons: Parts cost and awful manual gearbox.

The Additional Oomph To A Ultimate Driving Machine... The E46 3 Series Sedan W/ Performance Pkg — In 2004, BMW started a special package, code named the ZHP, as an optional upgrade to the already best-selling 3 series. It is called the performance package; which adds 4 bhp and 8 lb-ft of torque to the original engine, making the final 235 bph and 222 lb-ft of torque. In addition, a more aggressively tuned sports suspension and various upgrades that bridges the gap between the 330i and the M3. It is a pleasant addition; not only does it feel better in terms of road holding, the engine feels a lot more lively than a regular 3 series. This is a sports sedan that can haul your family (albeit slightly small), and yet it turns into a sports car on the track and the mountain roads. BMW has yet again made a great addition to its already great 3 series line.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handling, styling, 6 Speed Manual transmission, Performance pkg

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Fun To Drive — Love the handling, its definitely a point and shoot car that hugs the road. In manual "sport" mode the car is much more fun to drive. No squeaks or rattles, this car is solid. Although it's an entry level Bimmer, it doesn't disappoint.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Wheels, lower center of gravity

Cons: Cost of gas - any car that isn't a hybrid is going to be pricey

I Really Want A 5 Series... — I traveled 125 miles per hour for 4 hours coming through Ohio." Got BIG ticket"! I thought I was doing 70. Smooth as ice! It's rear wheel drive and bad in the snow. Little better with snow tires. Overall... I Love it!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: "FUN"

Cons: Very small... Got two child seat that won't fit.

Could Only Get Better If It Flew — Perfecty built, great reliability and decent performance. Of course it can get 30 mpg if you baby it. It is not the popular M3 model but the parts are much cheaper not to mention the insurance and you still get the same quality of a car. The only knocks on the star rating is because it is not the M3 but if your desires lie in this car then it would be 5 across the board.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It is the perfect car.

Cons: More expensive to maintain than a american car, but what do you expect.

This Car Has Not Let Me Down One Bit And I Have Been Abusive At Times. — Used to own a 1995 325IS and now I won this one and I am very pleased. The interior seems alot more roomy. Performance is very good whether you need to accelerate to overtake a person on the highway or your putting it through corners this car is well rounded is a notch above the competition. This car is very fun to drive. Whether your accelerating in a straight line or putting it through corners you will not be disappointed by this car. When BMW claims to be the ultimate driving machine they are right. I will probably only buy BMW from now on.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power, cornering and stopping power when you need it.

Cons: No reasons that I can think of to avoid this car.

- — Good acceleration, braking, and handling. Interior is leather, with the sport seat package-heated leather front seats. Only downers-lack of cup holders, 2 in a 5 seater car. And lack of power outlets. Sunroof, loads of trunk space. 3 car seat places. Not that it would be practical for 3, but with 1 or 2..would be fine.

Pros: Standard, quick response.
