Truly The Driver's Car. — I really do like this car. Size can be a little larger, but for a small family it's perfect. The ride is informative and responsive. Everything can be felt through the steering wheel. Some would believe this to be a "con", but there is no reason to buy a BMW if you don't enjoy driving and feeling the road.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handling is exceptional. Fuel economy is good (if properly maintained). Suspension is nice and firm with responsiveness through the corners. Doesn't push into a corner. Doesn't lean or feel loose in the rear at speed.

Cons: Maintenance can be costly if you don't know what you're doing. Ride can be too firm for some.

Great Car! Few Issues! Find Good Local Bmw Mechanic. — I have loved this car since I've had it. With 113k Ive only had to put $400 in it to keep it driving perfectly! Few cars can be this much luxury, performance, handling and elegance in one package but this one pulls it off.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great gas mileage, Extremely reliable

Cons: Interior trim pieces fall off over time

Car For Racers — I just love all the BMW's and I think their engine is one of the best. If you are a car lover and love to race and drift, BMW's are the most reliable and strongest cars. It's really fun to drive it.

Pros: I love everything about this car. The way it drives, the way it looks.

Cons: I can't really think of anything negative except that BMW are not cheap to maintain.

The Best Daily Driver I've Driven Yet. — I searched for months for this car. I love it. It's amazing in the snow, which is why I searched for another one. And for whatever reason, this body style handles better in snow than the newer models I've owned.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great handling. Amazing in the snow. This is the second one I've owned.

Cons: None

Great Car, High Maintenance Costs, But If You Account For That, Can't Be Beat — Some parts on the cars acted like consumables; however they by definition were not. Finding a "good" mechanic was difficult. Just reading the computers fault codes could only be done at a few places in town - and they charged for it. She's not a cheap date, but she's beutiful and will treat you right if to do the same.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looks great, great in snow and weather.

Cons: Expensive to maintain

Little Beauty — Car is awesome. Drives great sticks to the road. I have nothing bad to say about the car, its a v6 but in my opinion is still good on gas. it looks amazing inside and out. The nice thing about driving a bmw is that not everyone has one, everywhere you look there are civics and toyotas (I own a 97 camry as well and LOVE that car is tough as nails 450k one motor still runs like a top.) bmw's are a true treat to drive!

Pros: Great car looks nice, drives great. The germans build a great car.

Cons: If dealer maintained, expect to dish out a lot of money.

Wow — I love these cars! They have a great following online so if your good with fixing cars, don't be afraid of getting one. One you see a clean one with options and in good mechanical condition, pick it up! I have always gotten compliments on her, and no one ever know how old she is.

Pros: e46 Styling

Cons: e46 repair costs

Living Up To Expectations — As it was our first BMW, we hoped it would live up to all the praise heaped on this family of cars for over 20 years. I can honestly say that we were not disappointed. From the stellar warranty and dealer service to the fit, finish, and legendary ride, this BMW proved to be the best vehicle we've ever owned.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Legendary handling and stylish looks compliment the luxurious interior that defined BMW back in 2004.  Like today, you could do better, but at a much steeper price.

Cons: At 184 bhp, the 325ci lacks the power expected in today's sport coupes.  Also, while the car gets decent hwy. mileage, it gets pretty thirsty in city driving, with mandatory premium fuel adding even more to the cost of ownership.

The Best Car I Ever Had — I love BMW and wouldn't buy anything else. unfortunately things aren't made the way they used to be. This is one of the best 3 series out there. I had a 2009 also. The 2004 is a lot more durable.

Pros: Never better handling on a mid size sedan.

Cons: repairs are a little expensive

The Perfect Car — Awesome car to drive. Fell in love the second i saw it. It is a blast to own, handles amazing, not as much power as a straight 6 could have, but it rides awesome. Gas mileage is about 22, not too great.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice interior

Cons: BMW parts are expensive
