Avoid Unless You Dont Have The Extra £1000 For A Better Manufacturer — Poor power even with a turbo, bad build quality, very plastic and rubish parts. Cheap to run until something goes wrong and then its a lot to fix. Interior and exterior it looks good for what your buying, a bit plasticy though

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: economical

Cons: Poor build quality

5 Star Safety, Loads Of Gadgets And Relatively Cheap To Buy, A Good Family Car. — Bought for the 5 star safety rating as much as anything else. Loads of kit, auto wipers, dual climate control, panoramic sunroof, xenon headlamps, reverse parking sensors (although obviously I don't need those . . .), tyre pressure sensors, electric folding wing mirrors, etc. Faster than its immediate rivals and handles fairly well for an estate. I personally like the look of the car although that's obviously subjective. Boot isn't as large as my previous estate but its plenty big enough. Behind the wheel is a nice place to be from putting the card in its slot and then pressing the start/stop button it feels that bit different to the usual humdrum cars on the road. I've done some long journeys in this car and so far its been reliable and a pleasant place to be. I have the 2.0 privilege and I'd get the 2.2 diesel next time for better fuel consumption and a faster car. Its not slow, but its not as fast as I'd like . . .

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Loads of gadgets will make others think you've paid more than you did . . .

Cons: None so far, but I've only had it since March 2010

Our 2003 Renault Laguna Ii — I liked its comfort and driving experience. It was a good motorway car and had great safety features. It was hard work though. It had electric window problems and when we were trading it in, it had a wheel bearing problem. We got rid of it in 2005.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Comfortable, Good motorway car.

Cons: Electrical problems, thats it really.
