Love It. — I got this car for graduation and now drive it daily, it has a surprising amount of power and if you aren't careful you'll be going 100+mph before you know it.

Pros: Fast, good handling, nice stereo, good braking

Cons: none

Car Of The House — I love the horsepower in this vehicle. The interior is what I hate on it right now. I am jealous of all the 07s on the road.

Fast And Sleek — Vehicle 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 5M) Review The power of the 4 cyl engine is like other 6 cyl. The gas mileage, 29 mpg highway and 23 mpg city with the a/c on, is unbelievable. It's comfortable. The sound system sounds great and the only time it's been in the shop was to have a fan belt replaced. Favorite Features Power with great gas mileage. Suggested Improvements None.

Pros: Fast
Black
BOSE system
Leather interior
Sunroof

Cons: Car Alarm keeps ringing off the hook
People keep rubbing up against my bumpers

Good Buy In A Price Range Of 20k — For a four cylinder car, it would be one of the best car. Definitely better than accord and camry.

Pros: Sterio system, Pick

Cons: Turning Radius

Like The Car But Reliability Wise It Has Trouble — Bought this as a lease return at 120k kms and replaced the engine at 144k. I have since had check engine light on several times. I am considering going domestic.

Pros: Fast and comfortable has most things that people want

Cons: Reliabiility on expensive stuff.

Very Good Buy Overall. — If you're looking for something in this size, compare it to an Accord or Camry and you'll see it comes with more standard equipment and a more powerful engine for about the same price.

Pros: Standard equipment, power

Cons: Needs better tires for better handling!

Economical, Reliable, & Fun Family Sedan —

I feel like I'm in an actual sports car rather than a lower-end four-speed 245hp 3.5L V6 car (Aside from the torque-steer). 0-60 time is around 5.5 seconds, quarter of a mile time is around 14.2. Really quick. I have had no major problems and I am very satisfied in my Nissan Altima. I have a heavy foot but still have no major problems though this is a FWD vehicle. The car is eleven years old with 132,000 miles at the time of this review (updated May 2014) and it's still going strong! Good acceleration and braking. The exterior is very nice, fast, and sporty looking. The interior is (cheap) sporty looking with wood grain accents but the dash started cracking about four years ago of the time of this review (updated May 2014) and I'm a person who keeps up with my possessions so I was kind of surprised when I noticed it. Fuel Economy is around 23 miles City and 36 miles Highway MPG. I use Premium Unleaded 93 Octane gas. I would say this car isn't all that expensive to keep up with as long as maintenance is maintained as scheduled; however I have had constant sensor & major oil consumption problems, which I think has finally been resolved. This is a nice car I would recommend it to anyone who wants a spiffy family sedan at a low price for what the car is capable of. (My Nissan Altima 3.5 SE was $31,000 brand new.)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: - Fuel Economy
- Reliability
- Base Price

Cons: - Major oil consumption
- FWD. Should be RWD or AWD. (I guess that is why Nissan made the Infiniti G35/G37 which are RWD and AWD.)
- Automatic version is a 4-Speed. Should be at least 5 or 6-Speed.
- If you do not like fast cars, this isn't the one for you.
- Repair costs can become rather expensive.
- Poor turning radius
- Road noises >>>ANNOYING!

Inexpensive, "four-door Sports-car" Like Nissan Calls The Maxima Lol —

The way this car drives, I feel like I'm in a high end sports car rather than a lower-end 245hp 3.5L V6. Nissan 350Z and this car drives very similar to me which is a plus for this car being that it is a Family Sedan and not a sports car like the 350Z although the 350Z is much ruffer on the road with slightly stiffer suspensions. I have done as quick as 4.9 seconds from 0-60! Which is very quick for a none high-end car with V6; not to mention that this is the fastest car in its class. The slowest 0-60 run I've done was 6.1 seconds and that was a rainy day! I have had no major problems and I am very satisfied in my Nissan Altima. I floor it all of the time in this car and still have no major problems though this is a FWD vehicle. The car is eight years old with 105,000 miles at the time of this review (March 2011) and it's still going strong! Good acceleration and braking. The exterior is very nice, fast, and sporty looking but I kind of wish I had the SE-R model. I thought about Upgrading to SE-R in 2006 but never got around to it I guess I'm content enough with this one lol. Now, they don't even make the SE-R anymore, which sucks because Nissan only made them for two years. The interior is sporty looking with wood grain accents but the dash started cracking about a year ago of the time of this review (March 2011) and I'm a person who keeps up with my things so I was kind of surprised when I noticed it(has been fixed since then). I get about 20 City and 30 Highway MPG. Maintenance cost me about $2500 a year on average and that includes gasoline in which I use premium 93 Octane. I would say this car isn't all that expensive to keep up with as long as maintenance is maintained as scheduled; however I have had constant sensor problems in which I hope is finally resolved. This is a nice car I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fast family sedan at a low price for what the car is capable of. My Nissan Altima 3.5 SE was $31,000 brand new.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: One of the Fastest(if not the fastest) midsize sedan in its class.

Cons: If you don't like fast cars, this isn't the one for you. Repair costs can become pricey. This car also has a poor turning radius and loud outside road noises that you can hear from inside of the car.>>>ANNOYING!
