2003 Mazda Protege ESReview
Will writes:

Great Commuter — Just plain fun. I have over 240k mile in this car and i just upgraded the stereo and headlights. The only reason I will not make to 300 thousand is that my kids are quite tall and I may need to get a bigger car. I love this car. We bought it

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Suprizingly sporty

Cons: Could use a bit more power to go with the sporty drive.

First vehicle bought and owned personally. Excellent entry level car. Paid under 14k new off the lot. Got excellent gas mileage, low maintenance, easy to drive manual transmission. Traded in several years later for approximately 9 Thousand towards an 09 Jeep Liberty.
