The Best Bang For The Buck All Around Sports Car. — Decently quick, handles like a dream, sounds great and looks terrific. This car has been out since 1990 with very few changes. Its that good!

Pros: Small, superb handling, easy to work on, lots of mods available

Cons: Small, lots of mods available

Love It, Love It, Love It. — This is the most fun driving I've ever had. I've had my Shinsen for 4.5 years now, and still love getting in it every day. I get lots of looks and lots of comments on the street about what a cool car it is.

Owner for 4 years, 6 months

Miles Driven per Year:9,000

Cons: Sure wish it had a tilt steering wheel and that it was easier to latch the top closed.

Each Year Better Than The Last — Miatas are fun cars for all ages. Not the fastest, but fun to drive. I consider a miata a 4 wheel motorcycle with a small trunk. The 03 has variable valve timing which is a major improvement over the 99's and 2000's. I don't know when mazda did this to there 1.89 liter engine but it surely did help. Don't miss out on a little fun in your life. Buy one and enjoy it. You need something else in your garage.

Fastest Little Car Around! — I can't describe how much fun it is owning and driving this little roadster. I picked it up from a friend about a year ago for the purpose of Auto-X'ing with my local SCCA region. What I didn't know was that this little guy is super competitive and with just a set of extreme performance summer tires I typically finish in the top 10 drivers on any given weekend with usually over a 100 drivers.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Light, fast and fun. Super reliable and easy to maintain.

Cons: No AC or power steering.

Sporty, impressive, boss Of The Road! — What is there to dislike about this Sharp low slung, wide rider sport car! This is the car that you want when you go out looking for a good looking woman. The car that you want to take when you feel like you just won the Indy 500!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: putting the top down and run down the highway!

Cons: A little bit low to the ground.

Sweet Little Two Seat Roadster! — Great performance, it likes to rev, no squeaks or rattles, but that's b/c of the Bose sound system I'm blasting, not the fastest b/c of the 1.8 liter engine but it has 148 hp!! Car is a blast to drive. It handles like a dream in the corners. To top it all off it gets good gas mileage. Now to see how fun it is in the Michigan winter! (i rated the backseats with one star b/c it made me, but it has no back seats!)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Small, sporty, and handling

Cons: Golf clubs don't fit in the trunk well

As they say, its better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. This car has the best handling of anything Ive ever driven. Corners like its glued to the road. Nimble as a cat. If you want acceleration, cruise along at 50, drop down into third and drop the hammer. Rev it to 7000, shift to fourth and youre near 100. It will power through curves as if they arent there. A real pleasure to drive. Because the suspension is so tight, the ride isnt the smoothest. Im not saying you will be aware when you drive over a gum wrapper, but you wont think youre in a Lexus. And as a convertible, it is noisy. This is the third convertible Ive owned. And although cabin noise is loud, the wind is very low. Your ladys hair isnt going to blow wildly. Bottom line, if you like to drive, and the open road is calling your name, this car will get you there. Ive heard this car described as a big go-cart, which is close. But it has a Hell of a lot more power and is a Hell of a lot more comfortable. BUY ONE!!!!
