Mini Cooper S Rocks! — J.R. (Jack Rabbit) was a great car! he stuck to the road like glue, could zip around in traffic, and parking was possible anywhere! He is very much missed. The car is covered by BMW's bumper to bumper warranty, which is great, but we did not need it much in the first 3 years other oil changes and wipers. The 2003 model had trouble with the power steering pump but they fixed it under warranty knowing it was a problem. Pros: fast, low to the ground allowing hard turns, hot and cute, more cargo room than you think, roomy seating in the front, FUN! Cons: not so good but easy to ignore - loud with windows down, bumpy ride in the city, minimal room in the back seats. ![]() Looking for a Used Cooper in your area?CarGurus has 4,236 nationwide Cooper listings starting at $1,999. |

I Love It! — I LOVE IT! What more can I say? It is British, and it is beautiful. So much fun to drive. I made myself car sick by going up a windy mountain so fast! The build quality... close the door and you'll see what I mean. WOW. The only thing is the cost of ownership - they're not cheap but definitely worth it. I had to sell mine, but I would definitely get another one! Pros: Head Turner, Good Mileage, Fun Car, Safe, 6 speed Manual! Cons: Just the Cost of Keeping Up with it |

Cannot Be Beat In Tco, Fun, Performance And Appearance All Together — My MINI is gorgeous, quick, playful and makes me smile, even with gas at $4 a gallon. I like to retain value than 80% of the Porsches, beat the Subaru WRX, etc whenever there are turns in the road, and be part of an energetic, kind and diverse MINI community. I would not get rid of this car for double its value, nearly 6 years into ownership! Pros: looks, performance, quality, economy, owner and brand community, and driving fun Cons: interior rattles must be ignored |

Mini Cooper S R53 — Writing anything would be an understatement for this car, you just have to drive the damn thing. 100% pure F-U-N! It has history, it has some sort of uniqueness and carisma in the whole package. The car definetely turns heads and the handling alone is unbeatable. The Mini also has a very good tuning potential and its superchared motor really gives an even boost to the cars performance. A must have for every car lover! Pros: Performance, handling, fun factor Cons: Braking (Standard setup) |

2003 Mini Cooper - Maxi Fun! — 36 miles/gallon - city or highway, handles well, look very cute in its red and white paint scheme, plenty of leg room for front passengers, can seat 4 adults somewhat comfortably, haven't had any major malfunctions. Car has 69,000 miles on it. Fantastic car for two passengers! Pros: Good mileage, ample leg room, turns many heads! Cons: Fairly harsh ride, very small storage space, |

Best Car I've Owned Yet. — Not the most spacious car, but does offer a lot of head room, and the rear seats fold flat to provide more space. Stock MCS engine (163-167 hp) isn't the world's fastest car, but coupled with it's light weight makes it truly a nimble and peppy car for the city. Add on some modifications like I have (or more), and it becomes a track beast. Stock for stock, a MC or MCS is hard to beat around the road course... Safety...If I can't avoid the accident (given the short stoping distance or swerving lie the car is on rails) I feel safe knowing I'm encased in a compartment full of airbags, and our child will be safe in the back. Pros: Gas mileage(new R56 model gets 40+ mpg highway), safety, performance, reliability. Cons: Plastic interior has a tendency to rattle (just something that bugs me, but I've fixed my issues). |

My Jet-car — It's five years old and everyone thinks it's still new - that's the power of the MINI. When I got it, it was fast, tight, and an awesome drive. Today, after upgrading the ECU and the air intake, it's even more quick and just as nimble. There's a good reason everyone want s to drive my little beast. You must at least take one for a drive. Sure, loose object rattle in the door storage; the engine is a bit loud; the fuel economy is only as good as an average sedan; the seat controls are manual; there is no cruise control or heated seats - forget all that and try a corner at 100 kph. When it's not covered in dust and road rash, it's classic British Racing Green with a Black roof- one of only two colours styles a MINI should be (the other being Red with a White roof and trim.) The interior is black pleather with lots of scuffs and fingerprints on all the plastic and glass. And I wouldn't trade it for a new one. Pros: Way too much zoom, tight handling like nothing else, most fun to drive - ever! Cons: fuel eco about average, high-pitched engine whine, new tires every year, some rattle noises |

Amazing Car To Dive...didn't Like The Look At First But Then Got Behind The Wheel...mini Fever... — Brilliant car. Handles perfectly, looks great just as they are but also with trims and as quick as lightning. Brings driving back to what it should be...fun!!! Had a few initial faults which the dealership didn't fix but haven't heard many complaints at all n only minor ones at that. Pros: brilliant car and amazing if not slightly unbelievable value for money Cons: watch out for the dealership, make sure they're a reputable shop... |

Zippy Little Charmer! — Great car with great handling and responsive power. Equipment list can be extensive, but this is what separates a car from a true car. Interior is ample, but back seats should have a better seat pitch. Legs can be cramped if occupants at the front have long legs. Harman-Kardon sound system is a blast! Great sound! Pros: Great looks, great handling, great exhilaration! Cons: Build-quality could be better, and engine slightly powerless between idle and 2500rpm. |
