2003 Lexus LS 430 Review
W. Michael says:
Plenty of power in the engine, quiet car as you cannot hear engine or road noise. Huge seat inches between front seats and rear seats. lots of electronic like auto parking, back-forward bumper senors, leather seats, ranks #1-2 in Consumer Report for the best used cars and it has had no recalls on this model for over 13 years. Buy it you will never regret it for $10,000.

"More width and depth from seat to dash and just more attractive than the BMW"
Family Car Ranked 2003 BMW 7 Series worse.
"I could go on and on matching each car, but there is a gigantic amount of appearance as well as interior size/control than BMW. Much better name related to the public."

Love It — the year 2003. and it has over 100k miles currently on it. A couple dents and scratches on it as well. But overall a good car, I would recommend it to any of my friends or family. Nice car, buy 1

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: performance & reliability

Love The Look And Ride. — NO dislikes about this car. Plenty of interior leg room for any body type. Daily driver, so must get around in the weather in Nebraska all year round. Does a good job. Will keep buying Lexus as my main car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Smoothest ride of any luxury car I have driven to date. On my third one. Started with an ES, moved up to the LS400 and now the LS430. Scouting for a LS460 now. Very roomy and quiet.

Cons: Lexus dealers like you to come in at every opportunity to have it go through maintenance checks. Um, no.

Lexus Rules — My current Lexus is never in the shop for repairs. Scheduled maintenance, yes. Lexus is responsive and fun to drive, handles smoothly and doesn't break the bank keeping gas in it. I have owned a Lexus since the very first Lexus came on the market. I have had a total of 5 over the last 23 years. Prior to owning a Lexus I had a Jaguar, 2 Mercedes (fine automobile, but not as fine as Lexus), Cadillac, 4 door Thunderbird, Pontiac Granville (top of the line). In my younger days, I had a volks wagon, a Corvair, a Pontiac Le Mans, and a few other that will remain nameless. In my opinion, for the money, the Lexus is the finest ride on the market. Of course I have only ridden in a Rolls Royce, but I wasn't that impressed. I am currently in the market to buy my 6th Lexus.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looks great, drives great and always cranks up and goes.

Cons: There is nothing about my Lexus I dislike

Not Inexpenive, But Easily Worth The Price Again And Again — Nothing to dislike. All good. 28/30 mpg hwy 19/20 city. What more can you ask for? Change oil every 5,000 miles. Tires every 50,000 miles. Scheduled maintenance as instructed. Never owned a car as dependable as the Lexus LS 430.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Dependable. Reliable. Comfortable. A great car. Good for at least 250,000 perhaps more.

Cons: none

Great! — Japanese know their cars. Very excellent driving experience. You don't feel tired after a long drive. Very responsive to your driving needs. Have 195,000 miles on it and still drives it did when it had 30,000 miles. What a car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The ultimate in driving experience.

Cons: Could be a bit less expensive to do normal repairs.
