Reliable, Made For City, Flexible, Not For Joyful Driving But Reasonable Driver. — Little reliable car with excellent cvt-automatic transmission. Made to drive in city. Not so good in highway. Poor acceleration but you get by in the city. Lots of room, very flexible seats. U can fit more stuff inside this car than in most cars twice the size. Looks cheap inside, all plastic and so, but technically very reliable and cheap to use.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap to use, low mileage(6-7 liters in city, 4-5 liters in highway)

Cons: "ladybug", mostly old womens car it seems, not powerful and little.

It's Not Just For Old Women! — The Jazz has the image of an old woman's car for going to the supermarket in, but it can do so much more, it's not fast, but around town the 1.4 litre engine has enough power to make driving it interesting, and the fuel economy is excellent, I can get about 45 mpg out of it on a good day. It's a Honda so it'll never break down and the build quality is brilliant. It's a light little car so despite the lack of power it's fun to drive on A roads, and you can overtake in it if you plan ahead a bit! Decent looking car, much more interesting than most of its competitors I think. The fold flat rear seats make it versatile, there's plenty of space for lugging stuff around, I can get 3 bikes in the back of it, even with the seats up it'll take 4 sets of golf clubs comfortably. It's not the fastest or the flashiest car, but in terms of practicality it's fantastic!

Pros: Space, economy, build quality, speed around town

Cons: Not the fastest car, or the flashiest

Jazzy Inside And Out — Brought the Jazz as an ex-Demo from the Dealer in 2003. A little expensive for its size, but very good to look at, comfortable and highly versatile - the seats work wonders! Most fuel-efficient car around and good fun to drive with manual tip-tronic. Excellent stereo, and the Honda Jazz can look amazing with simple upgrades such as Alloy wheels and tinted windows.

Pros: Comfortable, excellent sound system, solid build

Cons: Slow acceleration

The Mediocre Family Pretender — The Jazz is what I call the wannabe parent in waiting. After you've gotten over what you've bought, you slide into a world where plastics and other trinklets reign. But it's civilised and comfortable as long as you don't fly over a hole or bump higher/deeper than 3cm. Once you do, then you'll feel that you've just sat on a bed of nails. The engine isn't too bad given a VTEC and VTEC never fails. But it just sounds so....pedestrian. You put the boot in and it goes but not as explosive as the Mazda 2 or as rev happy as the Ford Fiesta. But at least it's better than a Toyota Corolla/Yaris (depending on how poor you were to buy it). The back sits 3 rather well as compared to the usual 2 in other cars. Unfortunately, that's the only good side. To buy one, I doubt it. Go for a 2 or the Fiesta.

Pros: VTEC engine, comfortable back seats and good value

Cons: Again, VTEC engine, crappy tires, don't mix bumps and holes at the same time.

Great Run About With Heaps Of Space — Excellent car for running about the city, but also goes quite well on the freeway. Runs on the smell of an oily rag and has heaps of incar space. The back seats fold flat making it like a mini wagon in the back... we have moved so many things in it that you just wouldn't fit in a standard hatch or sedan... even the bigger ones. Back seats also fold up making it easy to put tall things in (plants etc). Easily fit 5 adults comfortably.

Pros: So much space and great fuel economy

Cons: No cruise contral
