My First V8. — sucks abit of petrol around town, but highway driving its great on fuel.performance is excellent alot of power, acceleration is quick, braking great, handles very well, build quaulity good,no repairs, because it was babied,no squeaks or rattles,appearance-mean-,interior nice colour and comfy seats, exterior looks good, cost in 2006 when i got it with 62,000kms $28,990 feul-great on highway, around town depending how u drive it ,not to bad, mainenance is good very little as it was babied, fun factor-power-handling,and yes its fun to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: the power of the 350 chev, the handling,

Cons: the red hot colour fades quick in sun ova time.

Good Workhorse — Great wagon for lots of reasons! Good for camping, lots of storage space, enough grunt, a few handy bells and whistles, looks good, reasonably reliable (so far!) cheap to buy, great stereo and you can turn the traction control off!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Heaps of space, cheap to buy and run, practical but still pretty fun

Cons: a bit unrefined!

Ss Power Or Fuel?? — Great car good performance but the fuel bill sux. Fairly good build quality only a couple of rattles that have come in the last 6 months. The appearance is good for a car of its age. Servicing is reasonably cheap but the cost of fuel can be high if driven hard. However the fun factor is high so if its fun your after the car is perfect.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the power from the V8

Cons: Fuel consumption

Sexy — i bought the car of about 11,900 with about 175,000 km. the engine is the same engine as a vs commodore. but with strengthened bears better tuned. the 5 speed also livens the performance up a lot more. and its more fun to drive because of it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its green and 5 speed

Cons: its to awesome

Fully Sick — Acceleration, braking and handling is similar to that of an average commodore. The car has been built with quality by the general, holding the appearance of being much faster than it actually is. Costs are relativley low at about $200 per self service and an average of about 12 litres per 100km in fuel consumption. Limited slip diff would help to allow the big V6 to do a decent burn out.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap

Cons: To Common

Holden = Awesome — Its a Holden, whats not to like. Great acceleration for a standard car as well as good handling and breaking. Great build quality other than a re occuring issue with electronic problems. Appearance is fantastic. Cost of owning one is pricey if it is your only car, being a v8 it chews large amounts of fuel but it sure is worth it. Overall it is a very fun car to have.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Performance and interior design.

Cons: Fuel guzzler and electronic problems.

2003 Holden Commodore Stationwagon V8 — This car is a big V8 that uses a lot of petrol. Acceleration is good but it is a rear wheel drive meaning not as good traction. It is averagely good looking and it is ok to drive, nothing that special.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: large engine, good for long trips, lots of space

Cons: uses a lot of petrol, is a very long car.

So Far So Good!!!! — the performance is amazing. for a supercharged 6 it keeps up with v8 monaro's and such. it chews through the juice. no repairs needed. Very fun to drive. Love the appearance and the Leather interior. i havent come accross any problems with it yet but have only owned it for 3 months so far.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its got guts

Cons: nothing that i can tell as of yet. only had it 3 months
