Will Never Buy Another!!!! — Quality of parts in vehicle is very poor. I have recently joined Canadian Automobile Association (CAA)to hopefully reduce my concerns about the cost of car breakdowns. Ford stands for "Fix or repair Daily". I would like to change this saying to fix or repair monthly. My monthly repairs bills run on average $500-$600. My decision now after 60,000 kilometers is to get rid of it. And I never ever will trade up to another FORD.

Rear End Problems — Loved the vehicle, but had too many problems with the rear end new design...aluminum. Replaced two rear ends in warranty and two out of warranty...covered by Ford, 'cause they know that they have a problem. After having the last one replaced at 52K, and the rep told me that this was the last one. At 57K I traded 'cause the whining was starting again in the rear end. High whining problems were why they changed the whole rear end each time....first it started at 6K miles, with a 55 - 62 whine. Then it was a whine at a higher speed...then a growling and they replaced the bearings etc...but the whine was still there....they replaced the rear end with a new one again. Good luck....my car was like new when I traded on a new Pontiac Torrent.....my wife loves this car, easier to handle than the bulky Explorer.

Awesome — Only dislike that my DVD player doesnt work, good running boards, big V8. Runs like a champ every time I start it. Gets about 14-16 MPG normally which is good for a big car. Got a trailer hitch and pretty good towing power

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: safe, good acceleration

Cons: ummmmmmm
