Explorer — First "car" I ever haggled for on my own...and got an amazing price for it. Have had it for 2 yrs and love it! Handles great...and in spite of the gas prices and my driving 33 miles one way to work...gets good gas mileage for an SUV. This is my 2nd SUV. I'm partial to them and trucks!

Pros: SIZE, HANDLING, CONDITION, ROOMINESS, COMFORT

Cons: GAS MILEAGE

My Explorer! — I've had my Explorer for 3 years now and I love it! It's very comfortable and would recommend this to anyone who wants an SUV. The only downfall is the gas mileage. But I can deal with it! It's been great with moving and hauling things or people to wherever!

Pros: Lots of space, very roomy and comfy, my back up sensors

Cons: Uses to much gas!

Ford: Gotta Love The Fully Loaded Exployer!!!! — I have the 3rd seat and seats 7 people. Lots of room. I lreally like how it drives. It has ivory colored leather seats and the carbonfiber look on the panels around the stero and door panels on the inside. It has a lot of room. It drives really great.

Pros: Lot's of room for all my shopping when I go to the mall. Great for trips.

Cons: IT IS A MAJOR GAS HOG!!!!!! But you still gotta lov 'em'

His Name Is Bullwinkle... Haha — It was a gift from my parents and I haven't had any major problems with it. One of the barrings went bad and I had to change the rotors, but that's about it.

Pros: Handles well in the snow.
Has a lot of room... I fit 11 people in it once :)

Cons: I need new seats, they are not that comfortable for a long drive.
Not that great of gas mileage, but that's expected with an SUV.

Some Build Quality Issues But Overall Been Good To Me — heres the deal 75000 miles, driver side door pin goes bad (common on ford trucks), cruise control intermittently works, fuel economy sucks (just got back from Florida avg 18.2 mpg), but on the plus side, never been stuck in anything, comfortable for 4 adults, great road manners, good stereo for factory, looks good.

Pros: Size, 4x4, comfort, looks

Cons: parking ability, above mentioned quality issues

Great Truck, Would Definetly Buy One. — For a heavy vehicle, it performs very well, although ive only driven it on a straight stretch with one turn at the end of the road 3 or 4 times.

Pros: Great acceleration, braking, handling, everything!

Cons: poor visibility, bulky

Will Never Buy Another!!!! — Quality of parts in vehicle is very poor. I have recently joined Canadian Automobile Association (CAA)to hopefully reduce my concerns about the cost of car breakdowns. Ford stands for "Fix or repair Daily". I would like to change this saying to fix or repair monthly. My monthly repairs bills run on average $500-$600. My decision now after 60,000 kilometers is to get rid of it. And I never ever will trade up to another FORD.

Owner for 4 years, 0 months

Miles Driven per Year:10,000

Pros: None

Cons: Too many to name!!
