Passat — I think It's A GREAT Car , and It's Super fast car , it has great performance , and above all of that it's not cheap or expensive . And I recommend this car SOOO much to a freind , because simply he could never forget it .

Pros: every thing is perfect , it's good-make car.

Cons: It uses much diesel (not so) than other ordinary car .

'02 Passat — Well there is no substitute for VW handling, and the Passat is not exactly the number one example of Volkswagen engineering, but it is still a solid representation of German ingenuity. I personally loved driving this car, the car I got after it was a 2000 Passat V6, so once you go VW there's no going back.

Pros: Handling

Cons: Not very sporty

Passat Tdi Keeps On Going — that an 02 can do 190000 miles before its firs major screwup,it still takes my toolboxs and gear and still does 135 on the autobahn,i still get over 40 mpg at over 100,and the ciggarette lighter still works, what more do you need from a contractor bus?

Pros: everything

Cons: not as fast as a w8

My Vw Passat 1.8t Gls —

My inline 4 1.8L Turbo engine kicked some ass on the rode. Not the fastest at acceleration but smooth overall ride. Got it going 133 before had to slow down. Minor standard repairs such as: new all season tires, spark plugs changed, secondary air pump went bad but no biggies. Interior is fully loaded with leather seats, heated seats, heated mirrors, power everything except seat, and steering wheel, controls. Since I work as a Geek Squad Autotech at the Holland Best Buy, come check it out, I have substituted the factory head unit with my Pioneer DEH-P7800MP deck. Full-Color OEL customizable screen, CD art display, along with High Volt (5V) preouts. Each one of these preouts has Rockford Fosgate RCA's headed to the trunk where two Rockford Fosgate amps mount on the back seats. These two beefy amps consist of a Rockford Fosgate P400-4 which is a four channel amp for powering my speakers, and a Rockford Fosgate P1000-1BD for a sub. The four shannel sub only uses two channels at the moment for a pair of Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 component speakers in my rear doors. Front speakers are still stock for the time being. All four doors are dynamated and the trunk and back seat are next. No subs but am looking at a 12" Orion HCCA Series sub. BOOYAH!!!!! As for exterior nothing too much just replaced factory headlights with aftermarket angel eye halo headlights that are tinted, brighter bulbs and a neon blue halo ring around them. Around 25mpg when I drive according to the rode. Maintenance not bad but like to do maintenance myself. Recently replaced secondary air pump. Fun car to drive and has been extremely reliable.

Pros: MPG, 1.8T, Smooth drive, fully loaded.

Cons: couple recalls, factory speakers weren

02 Vw Passat Glx 5-spd — Overall the car was a good value, had all the toys that a luxury car would have, but had the price tag of an economy car. Performance is solid, the Germans know how to tune a vehicle. Build quality is good, and the car is fun to drive. The best thing about the car is the styling because people always think its a brand new car even though it's an 02. Overall, it is a good choice for a car.

Pros: Good styling, roomy, fun to drive

Cons: Lackluster fuel economy, expensive maintenance

Will Never Buy A Vw Passat Again. — performance- no good build quality- crap appearance-nice cost of ownership-very expensive fun factor- no fun at all:-( this is the worst car i have ever owned, i have changed almost everything on the car, example, petrol pump, driveshafts, radiator, exhaust, powerbraking system, coils, window mechanism and all the usual things, discs, pads, cambelt. This is a 2002 model gone 140000km faults appearing all the time in the dash, car stops, driveshafts fall off. The car i owned before (escort 1.6) ran for 6 years with usual servicing and no problems.

Pros: have something to use all my money on...???:-(

Cons: to many faults.

Nicest Car I've Ever Owned — Didn't ever expect to find a sedan that was both fun to drive and extremely comfortable. The turbo engine, for it's size, is really quite amazing. The gas mileage is pretty par for the course for a 4 cylinder engine. There have been occasional problems with the overall quality of the automobile, but for the most part it has been pretty trouble free.

Pros: Fun, Comfortable, Roomy, Luxurious

Cons: Electrical problems here and there, but nothing ever serious.

Good For Now But Ready For Mods :) — I bought it used... so of course there were a few things that needed to be fixed. Overall though its great, handles, brakes, and accelerates like a dream. For most people the appearance would be beyond satisfactory, but as a teenager I look at it and always think about the things I wanna do to it. The interior is awesome, leather seats (very comfortable), wood accents, good quality stock sound system. Recommend to anyone that has a passion for nice cars.

Pros: Brakes and acceleration are both above par. Amazing interior.

Cons: Although the majority of cars are... expensive to repair.

Great Car, Can't Beat It — Very reliable, comfortable to drive especially on long journeys. Climate control, 6disc cd player, heated seats & a big boot (LOL). Just a sexy car all round.

Pros: Everything

Cons: The picture...it's an old one, it's got better wheels on it now!

Best Car Ever! — Our first VW that Mollie and I have ever owned. This thing is fast and looks good to boot! Basically, it has the same engine that went into the Audi Avant and has a tiptronic tranny. We bought it used with 32k on the clock and since then have put over 20k of our own miles in almost two years! It's Mollie's daily and then some. We are almost always in the pslut as it gets better gas mileage than my truck and is more comfortable.

Pros: German engineered and built! 2.7L V6, Tiptronic, Fully loaded (every option avail. in '02) GLX trim.

Cons: Musty odor that comes and goes (can't get out) ever since moving to the south.
