Amazing — This car is my baby. I love it. I has a great balance of performance and comfort without costing me tons of money. The car is very responsive. It handles great, smooth gear box and it is very quick. I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for their first sports car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It is all around an enjoyable car.

Cons: Volkswagen electronics are going to fail.

Awesome — I love this car I have yet to find anything I do not like. Great performance with minimum effort, thats what volkswagen is about. I love my interior the red and blue dash lights are really unique. Volkswagen has been in my family for years.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: I love my interior, and wheels.

Cons: Absolutely nothing except changing the headlight bulbs.

I Love It — The car is a 2.8 liter narrow angle V6. It is lacking in horsepower but has nice torque range and is fairly peppy. I've done quite a bit of modification to make it more fun to drive and I really enjoy it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive, fairly unique if you modify

    Cons: Expensive to maintain

Vw Golf Gti 337 — Solid little car. Great performance and handling with the added bonus of a back seat and hatch storage. 337's come with some cool factory upgrades such as a lowered sport suspension, 6 speed manual gearbox, larger brakes, 18" BBS RC wheels, unique body kit, and a Recaro interior. Overall a great ride with good gas mileage. Perfect for the enthusiast with a need for a practical and fun car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Quick, nimble, lots of storage space, decent gas mileage, subtle yet sexy exterior.

Cons: Very low ground clearance puts the oil pan in danger (needs a metal skid plate)

One Great Car — car was awesome. with a few upgrades the car was outperforming some of the big boys. great gas mileage and the car feels safe and cool at 140 unlike some cars i know. unlimited upgrades and perfect for those you like to add stuff and performance without being a mechanic.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: great car to own

    Cons: pricey upgrades

My Car — love that awesome growl of the vr6 as well as the 17 inch wheels... i dislike alot of the things the previous owner did to the car such as putting on a purple headliner, and painting the calipers red and yellow

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: vr6, 6 speed, wheels, handling

Cons: some creaks, purple headliner, badly tinted taillights.

Good Price, Great Performance — Great acceleration, great braking, handling is crisp. I love the leather seats. The performance is great with the 1.8 Turbo charged motor, and the cost was not bad just at 10k. Its a really fun car. You should check them out.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great gas mileage with great performance

Cons: Front wheel drive, costly repairs

Best Car I've Owned, Looks A Bit Like A Sleeper, And Really Is A Killer. — I am a person who came from the normal car, ya know, the guy in the old yukon on his way to work. My best friend has a brand new Civic Si, and I drive it regularly. I wanted to buy a car that would compete, and I have to say, its the best car ive ever owned, and I'll never buy anything but a Volkswagen again. my 2002 will out-accelerate his 2009 Civic Si, it will out-maneuver it, and its better in braking. true, the Civic feels like you're driving a spaceship, but I hate the harsh ride and crude suspension and seats. the build quality is great. no squeaks, no rattles, no cheap pieces falling off, VW even thought out the feeling of the key. The exterior looks simple, and mean at the same time. I gladly set it in front of my house without worrying about baddies bashing it with bats & such. what I mean is, its not brash enough where people will hate you for owning one. The gas milage is actually very good out of a car that can move like this. Its like an athelete who always seems to not be thirsty til the whole thing is over. But honestly, I am a huge car guy, and there are very few vehicles I've driven that are this much fun. the Corvette Z06 is one of them.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Cornering and handling, ride is actually very comfortable, will beat a car seven years newer of the same caliber, looks great, the sound system is extremely satisfying, and it will make you a VW freak.

Cons: juuuussstttt a tiny boring sheet metal, doesn't rev to nine like the Si, gotta manipulate the clutch to make it jump right off the line.

Good Stable Car, Easy To Mod, Fun To Drive. — This was a blast of a car to own. After upgrading the Turbo, LSD, wastegate, Interlooler pipes, Exhaust, APR chip, FK Silerline Coilovers and wheels this car was wicked fun and fast! Go out and get an R32.. same car with AWD!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Bad Arse for lower budget racers..

Cons: If you only buy american   :)
