It's A Toyota! — The Tundra is a great truck. I wasted my money on the extended warranty. I have had nothing but a positive experience with this truck. It has plenty of space and handles like a stable sedan. I love my Tundra.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sturdy, comfortable, reliable, nice looking

Cons: 16 mpg highway

2002 Ivan Stewart Tundra — Acceleration could use some improvement but other than that this is a great truck! We upgraded the breaks so it now stops on a dime. Build quality is amazing. Best of all it's one of the rare Ivan Stewart Tundra's that came straight from the factory. Currently has a three inch lift on 33's. This truck is ALWAYS turning heads!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great overall truck, turns heads.

Cons: Acceleration could be slightly better.

Great Truck — Great truck. No problems with it at all so far! Only thing that sucks about it is the gas mileage ain't very good. Ride is very quiet, and very smooth. It doesn't feel like a truck at all! Although this is the smaller model, I'm not a huge fan of the new model though, too big.

Pros: Solid,  doesn't break down.  Smooth quiet ride

Cons: gas mileage

Bang For Buck Winner! — I am the second owner of this 75,000 mile `02 Tundra. In my five + years of ownership, the only mechanical problem it has had was a bad O2 sensor that got seized in the exhaust manifold. (A dealer replaced both parts under warranty.) This truck has brute power and speed. With a reported 7.8 second 0-60 time, I have gotten it to jump the rear tires going into 2nd gear (automatic). The 32 valve Lexus inspired V-8 is extremely responsive and roars like a Cup car under hard excelleration. The gear changes are barely noticable unless your foot is in the floor. The power is complimented nicely by a very smooth ride. It doesn't quite feel like a truck at times. Interior fit and finish is comfortable and sound. The exterior finish is tough as nails, putting up with year after year of Southwestern sun abuse. There has been no paint fade that I can tell. I would definately recommend this truck to friends and family, but they'll have to get your own; this one is mine!

Pros: The iFORCE V8 - 4.7 liter/ 287 cu in; dual overhead cam; 32 valves; 9.6 comp. ratio; 245 HP/ 315 ft lb torque.

Typical high-quality Toyota fit and finish. Great ride and mechanics.

Cons: No Crew Cab option in 2002

Best Truck Ever!!!!!!! — This was my first car. I love it! It is currently being driven by my little brother, I hope to buy it back from my father when I graduate college.

Pros: lots of power, great looks, pretty fast, great breaks, reliable, few mechanical problems.

Cons: brakes wear out very quickly, gas gussler, takes for ever for engine to warm up,
which means the heater takes forever to warm up too.  AC controls a little flimsy.

I Loved This Truck — Did you ever trade in an automobile, glance back across the dealership parking lot and feel a sense of loss? I know ridiculous right? It's just a truck. But that's how I felt when I traded her in after ten years. Maybe it was the places it took you, or the things you did 'in' and out of it...(yeah)..not sure. But I still look for old White 4WD pre-2007 Toyota Tundra‚Äôs on the roads and wish I had one again.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Love The Tundra — I've put this truck through it's paces and I love it - 15 cars that I've owned and this one is one of the top 3! It has the ride of a car and can tow anything you put behind it! The Extra-Cab is a wonderful size and holds 4 people with ease.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Style, Ride

Cons: Cheap plastic knobs inside that don't hold up.

Robb says:
Its a Toyota - Reliability is its Pro - Power is NOT. Its not in the same catagory of the Avalanche 2500 - but then again - no other vehicle listed on the selection is either.
