My Wrx — I love my Praying Mantis-eyed Subaru - most of the grief it has given me is my own fault (lack of maintenance and TLC). There are lots of quirky things, though, like the random clock failure (who can't make a long lasting digital clock in this day and age?) and the driver's door that is falling apart inside. But, it is very fast and has been relatively trouble free for almost 100,000 miles.

Pros: It can be seen from outer space

Cons: The cops can see it from outer space

Suby Wooby Doooooo — When I drive the car it is like poetry in motion. I love everything about it. The pick up, the handling, and the way hugs the road. It is easy to work on, fun to drive, the girlfriend loves it too. Its a great car with both top performance and it still has great mileage.

    Pros: Almost everything

    Cons: Not very roomy

Wrx — Bloody fast, handles well, eats petrol!! £10 grand car stopped by a £1 relay!!! Dodgy front end, gorgeous from every other angle. Expensive to run, servicing costs ecessive shop around, quoted £900 to replace a clutch!! Good on tyres surprisingly! Everyone should own one once! Never catch me in a people carrier!!!!!!! NEVER!NEVER!!

    Pros: BIG smile every day

Cons: Petrol gauge moves faster than speedo

Smurff — Absolutely everything I wanted in a car. I admit, its not the top of the line, but its all i want without paying 3 years salary for a car. The handling and traction are everything. It is a rally car, it goes well on any surface. I've tested it hard on the back mountain roads of main without any complaint. There are better models out now, but this car revolutionized what a sport-compact car could be, sparking a wave of imitators.

Pros: Traction, handling, suspension, turbo, acceleration, sound system, leather interior, all surfaces-weather.

    Cons: Would change transmission

A Rally Car For The Masses — Between its rally heritage and bulletproof reliability, there's simply no substitute for a Subaru. Especially in wagon trim, the WRX is enough of a sleeper so as not to attract the attention of the 5-0, but once the turbo spools, hang on. Equally at home on the racetrack or on a logging road.

    Pros: Power, reliability, all-wheel drive

    Cons: Paint quality, styling

I Love My Dad's Scooby — Performance- quick and fast with a very stable ride. loads of grip through corners and performs well on any surface including snow and gravel. the build quality is very good. the interior is sporty yet functional great steering feel as well a good bolstered seats to hold you in during cornering.

    Pros: Fast, comfotable, good price

Cons: gas milage, chaning spark plugs is very hard due to the boxer enginge design.

Behold, The Draggin Wagon! — Add-ons: Stage 3 ProDrive Kit which includes a round tip rear muffler, an exhaust mid-pipe, a free flow catalytic converter/down-pipe, and a silicone intercooler Y-Pipe). I opted for a Perrin up-pipe instead of the ProDrive Flex up-pipe. I did not go with the ProDrive ECU upgrade, instead used Cobb AccessPort Tuner. Cusco Front Sway bar installed.

Pros: For about $2600, the mods gave me some really nice power gains.

Cons: Well, the wagon isn't as nice looking as the sedan, but at least the cops are less interested in chasing a wagon.

Subaru Wrx 2002 — Performance is incredible. With simple mods and the factory AWD system, this ride corners like a pro and takes off the line with top grip. As far as the build quality, it's one of the most reliable and cheap to repair cars on the road. With that in mind, it's not an expensive car nor is it built like one. The roof is hollow and rain is loud on it. But if your engine is as loud as it should be, you won't even hear the rain when you're driving. Gas mileage is hard to estimate because the tank is so small, you are constantly filling up, however, it only costs about $45 a tank for 93. Fun fact, on a scale of 1-10 is a 15. AMAAAZING sound with the right exhaust. I would swear it's not a 4 cylender. I would recommend this car to anyone who loves to drive fast, have a great sounding motor, glue tight cornering, and not too much money. If you have money, buy a BMW. If not, Subaru is the way to go for sure.

    Pros: Speed, cornering, SOUND, style.

Cons: O2 sensor sensitive and often needs to be replaced, hollow roof and poor sound insulation.

Subaru Impreza Wrx Wagon — great 0-150 km/h acceleration, pretty good handling, easy to tune, doesn't feel like a wagon. poor braking, barely acceptable gas mileage. damn turbo lag and lacks high end power (when stock). pretty good front seats and folding rear seats and lots of room to go on tour with a rock band. Engine and stock blowoff valve are pretty quiet ( to me it's a short coming, but some will appreciate). replacement parts are expansive. It's got a short throw shifter that's really fun to use .AWD is lots of fun when the road gets wet or when it snows. But is less fun on dry pavement than a rear wheel drive car would be. it gets a good 60 ft on drag racing thanks to AWD but it's a lot more likely to break than a RWD or FWD car.

Pros: performance, driving experience, AWD, handling, tuner's car

Cons: gas mileage, cost of maintenance, stock tires
