Good Car — it´s an ok car to drive but could have more performance in it. It culd be more goodlooking. At the moment it works fore me and my fiance but it´s to little to have when you get kids. it is a fun car to drive on little roads but not in acceleration.

Pros: Small, low gas mileage.

Cons: to little performance

Impecable —

At the start of 2007 I bought my car with just 50,000 miles on the clock and by the end of the year I had covered 80,000 miles! For a car of its size it copes with most situatuons very well! Its fun to drive, both in the city and out on the country roads, with its zippy little engine! The secret behind this little engine is that it has, not just 2 valves per cylinder, but 4 valves per cylinder!! Allowing twice as much air into the engine, allowing the fuel to burn much faster, there for allowing the engine to provide more power! The built quality is typically french however, with its squeaky sunroof and cheap plastics are a low point of this car but the overall appearence is fantastic both inside and out! Its funky and fun styling are typical of alot of small french hatchbacks, but none of them have the same character that the clio does! The cost of running a car like this are usually low, but with the Clio things aren't too great! Service costs are frighting, mainly because there is always something majorly wrong with it, for example; the suspension coils have been replaced at a total cost of £800, the spark plugs and ingnition pack have been replaced not just once but TWICE at a cost of £500 each time! On the other hand fuel costs aren't too bad, if driven sensibly you can achieve an impressive 54mpg, which is outstanding for a pertol car! However with me at the wheel 34mpg is more likely to be on the cards! But even at that you can still achieve 350miles out of a tank of fuel due to the clio having an abnormally large fuel tank for its size of engine! Overall then the clio is a delight to drive and a joy to own... or it would be without the running and maintenance costs!

Pros: Nippy little engine, Great looks, Brilliant Ride

Cons: Cheap Plastics, Maintenance costs, Sunroof

Renault Clio 1.2l Petrol 4 Door — I tried this car out in my driving lesson before my instructor got the lio 1.5 dci.Overall this car is very well made ,spacious, easy to drive with good control layout, and nicely weighted feedback. The steering is well weighted at speed and is set towards slight understeer.

Pros: Cheap to insure,economical-great for the city, spacious for its size, safe, solid driver feel and good layout.

Cons: Clutch needs fair ammount of gas on gradients to avoid stalling due to small engine-manouvers using just biting point are tricky, lack of power and torque especially approaching speeds above 50mph.

Great Handling Car But Build Quality Is A Little Suspect. — I have owned the Renault Sport Clio since new in 2002. It has been a good car overall with sound dynamics and willing engine. Over the past few years a few components have needed to be replaced and small problems have started to appear. For someone who wants a great handling car and doesn't mind a few annoying problems this car comes highly recommended.

Pros: Good handling, Light weight, Fuel Efficient

Cons: Dodgy build quality

Super Sporty — I've owned this car for 2 years. It's never caused me any major problems. It's super quick and stupidly noisy due to the twin exhaust i've had put on it. The car generally handles well but is not great at cornering.

Pros: Looks neat, quick, great sports car for price.

Cons: Interior build quality poor (cheapo plastic)

Renault Clio 1.6 Ltr — Did alot of research on what car to buy next, find out this was the next car to buy. Very comfortable to drive, good build quality. Installed an induction for more power, very quick now.

Pros: Acceleration, handling, comfortable ride

A Great First Car! — Perfect for driving, parking and handling. A perfect first car and i enjoyed driving it. Very reliable.

Pros: Small enough to get in spaces and big enough inside to get your friends in.

Cons: Not a family car so i had to part with it!
