Buy Them Used. They Lose Their Resale Like A Cadillac. — Perfect motor and transmission. Comfortable yet somewhat sporty ride. Great acceleration. Great highway cruising with that 6th gear in the lineup. Very reliable and great mileage considering it had 255 ponies under the hood. I sold it to get into an Audi A6 which was one of the biggest automotive mistakes I have ever made. And I have made some big ones.

Pros: Accel, reliability, ride

Cons: ??? no AWD or RWD I guess

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Nice Car — Persormance: Dont make alot of parts for this car but when you find them they are costly. Build: Car is sound. Appearance: Car has some nice lines to it. Very sharp. Cost: Gas isent bad its a V6. Maintenance: Mobil 1 all the way. Fun: Its not a car to take in the woods but on the streets it handles

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 6Spd manual. Cant beat that

Cons: Nothing

Fun, Fast, Relable — I have had this car since Sept 2001. For a 4 door car it is a sleeper with 250 HP. Over all it is a good car to have and had a blast with it. Car ride is smooth and it does not feel like you are doing 100 MPH.... Most major work that was done was a Trans rebuilt 2yrs ago.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: FUN

Cons: NONE

Maxima Review — The maxima is a great sports sedan. Its 2 door- like quality and speed make it fun, while actually having 4 doors makes things easier for travel. Overall I give the 2002 Nissan Maxima SE 5 out of 5 stars.

Pros: speed, appearance, travel, gas mileage

Cons: expensive

2002 Maxima Se — Gotta have 6M, but lottsa torque-steer. Needs stiffer springs and independent rear suspension... its way too soft. Great on the interstate and amazing mileage...I've actually averaged nearly 40mpg with cruise on long trips. Spacious and quiet, but can put you in jail faster than you think.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: power, stealth

Cons: torque steer, premium gas

Amazing Car That Is Surprisingly Fun To Drive — I bought the car as a daily driver so I could build my other car. The car is surprisingly quick, went 14.0 @ 100 in stock form. Gets 30+ mpg hwy. I bought it as a 6 speed and always wanted one. Now that I have it I am very happy to own it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 6 speed, quick, sounds great, nice car

Cons: none

A Car Hard To Part With... — Love this car. Personally, the styling (interior and exterior) are true to the luxury 4-door sports sedan mentality. Exterior has clean, straight lines. The stance is both agressive and refined. Interior has all the luxuries one can want in 2002. It would be nice to have an iPod connection in my car, but would not be possible with my current radio configuation. After 7 years, one of the top engines of it's time is still performing as if it was at its peak. Power matched with supurb fuel economy.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Interior, engine, and poise

Cons: Automatic Transmission, front wheel drive

If You Have A Family But Like To Open Up Your Car Now And Then And Are On A Somewhat Budget, Get It. —

Performance - The 2002-2003 model years have the 3.5L V6 VQ35DE which is practically the same as the 1st gen. 350Z's VQ... so it's got plenty of torque and gets up and goooess! Watch out for the torque steer. Mine is the 6 speed manual so that just makes it even more fun! Build Quality - The exterior is great, my car has taken alot and still looks beautiful, I baby her. Interior not so much, the only problem I have with the interior is that the plastic they use for the consoles feels so damn cheap! Everything else inside is pretty reasonable. Try and find one with the Titanium package and Meridian package, rare but will be worth it! Appearance - If you add any type of ground effects (lips NOT body kits) it's aggressive as hell, add a drop and OMG SEX! Cost of Ownership - All my miles are highway miles and with the 6 speed, my mpg is showing 28. I drive about 360 - 400 miles a week and I have to fill up every week(Shell Premium 93 octane). If it's wheel barrings in the front haven't gone out yet, expect them to. Happens to almost all of the 5.5 gen. Maximas. Other than that as long as you baby it, it shouldn't give you any problems. Mine's perfect right now. Fun Factor - 6 speed + traffic can be a pain, but once traffic opens up, drop it into 4th or 3rd, if you're going slow enough, and punch it, feels so good. Add an intake just to hear the engine noise and maaan, makes you wanna waste gas!! -_-

Pros: Good 4dr/wannabe sports car for the money, plus enough comfort features. Great power/gas guzzling ratio!

Cons: The wheel bearings that will go out if they haven't already, but not a big deal really.
