I'm Happy With My Lancer — I look at a car as something to get me from point A to point B. Saying that, I'm pleased with my Lancer. I've owned it for 5 years now and it's never given me any problems.

Pros: Compact yet roomy, good on gas

Cons: sluggish up hills and accelerating.

Its A Nice Economy Car, But If U Want Performance U Better Have Deep Pockets — it is a nice car that looks good and runs good too. but if ur buying it b/c lancers are fast, probly not ur car. upgrade to the Evo if ur looking for performance... 28-34 gas mileage for the OZ rally is easy on ur pockets though...

Owner for 0 years, 7 months

Miles Driven per Year:2,000

Pros: very good gas mileage   optional manual

Cons: FWD... tendency to understeer

Proton Waja Aka Mitsubishi Lancer — A formal on the job car, getting from point A to point B, economical and hecks with the bumps, dents & scratches. Actually for the safety of my own life, was forbidden by my then wife (ex now) to drive a sportier fast and better car when alone on the road (lol). But still manage to achieved a top speed of 210kph with this craps in the dry, 180kph in the wet.

Pros: Cheap maintenance, fuel economy

Cons: Built quality of a 3rd world country

315k+ Miles And Going Strong — I learned a long time ago that if you take care of your oil changes, a well built car will last a long time. Very true with this awesome car. Religious with oil changes every 3-4k. At 200k switched to a synthetic blend, now after 300k full synthetic. Also keep up with normal maintenance, belt changes, water pump, Front axle shafts/CV joints. The only thing that really started to go were the CV joints, most others (timing belt, alternator, shocks, etc....) I changed because it was time. Morale of the story: take care of the car and it will take care of you. This thing still drives beautifully after 300k, better than most "American Made" with half the miles. Still gets 35-40 MPG. Have had very little go wrong with this car. Hesitant to buy it when I did - Brand New, first model year for the Lancer - but I have been pleasantly surprised. I would get another Mitsubishi in a heartbeat. Can't ask for much more. Except a little more pep to match its quick look, but that is minor.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas Mileage, Reliability, Handling,  Beautiful Sporty Look

Cons: Looks faster than it is.  Stereo System
