Excellent! Rick made it very easy to get the deal done. We had originally looked at a G6 but it was not meant to be. When we saw the Mercedes we knew that was the one.

A Fun Car To Drive That's Suitable For Everyday Driving. — This is a great sporty convertible suitable for everyday driving. - This car drives well and shifts smoothly with firm and predictable brakes. The top operates flawlessly and the remote control for the top is a cool feature. The sound system with CD changer sounds good and there are quite a few storage areas within the interior. The trunk is bigger than most other convertibles out there.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Amazingly reliable and reasonable to maintain. Surprisingly large trunk for this type of car. Decent power and acceleration, but not a muscle car. Handles well and is relatively smooth and quiet for such a small car. Good solid door thunk and nice exhaust note.

Cons: Limited visibility, small cup holders.

One Of The Best, Abd Best Value Cars, Mb Has Ever Built. — Best, and fastest, car I've ever owned and I don't intend to ever let it go. I told my wife she could bury me in it and save the cost of a casket! And, for the performance (0-60 in 4.5; quarter in 13 flat at 110), it was an incredible bargain at 58k when new. I think MB made a mistake when they priced it. It's still faster than most everything on the road, even though the other manufacturers, including MB, have had 7 years to come up with something better. AND I get 18-20 mpg around town even though I constantly hit it hard.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Beautiful to look at; excellent build quality; FAST

Cons: Honestly have none.

Mercedes-benz Slk 320 — Decent vehicle overall. Loved the hard-top convertible, engine power, smooth ride and swift handling. Also enjoyed the material quality used for the interior. Typical roadsters don't have wood-trim, electric seats etc. Fun car to drive in the summer. Sounded great with the top down. Definite attention-getter with or without a nice set of wheels. Cost of owner-ship is very high due to most (if not all) parts being German. Gas mileage was that of a 4-cylinder even though it was a v6.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun to drive, hard-top convertible, "fully loaded", rides great, good power, gas mileage, design, handling.

Cons: Cassette player, rear-wheel (not a snow car), alarm issues.

Monster Merc — Fast and furious, and handles like a dream. Running costs are surprisingly low, and the maintenance cost is just the price of a service as Mercs are just so solid and relioable. This one is a little bit special because it's a special edition, so it comes with a few extras you don't get on the standard model. Superb.

Pros: Fun, fast, reliable, and great posing value with the roof down.

Cons: None.

A Dragster Disguised As A Girl's Car, But So Much Fun! — I bought the SLK because I'd become addicted to performance but also missed the convertible aspect. It replaced a Nissan Skyline GTR so it was never going to have an easy task. I was surprised that, when I started to get used to the incredibly sophisticated auto-box, it was so bloody fast and competent. Despite having slightly less power than the 400BHP Skyline it is much better poised and the torque levels are awesome (a big trait of 'V' engines). It also carries a wonderful level of class, despite its brutal power, which allows it to hold its own in a "posh" hotel's carpark but also scare other drivers at a track day. Oh, it also has a 4.5 star NCAP rating (for the safety conscious out there!). As for mine, I finally had it modified to 380BHP but frankly the standard car is all you should really need (at 354BHP); mine only went to that power as I got a bit carried away at a tuning shop! :-) I'll wrap it up with two stats on the standard car: 0-60 - 4.9/5.0 according to MB (most magazines have got 4.6 out of it) 155mph (limited)

Pros: Astonishing performance and all whilst having the roof down.  Classy and very rare too.  Great BOSE sound system.

Cons: It likes petrol, but then all AMGs do!  Slightly boring interior.  A bit quiet unless "driven" (can be sorted with removal of cats).
