Awesome Car — Good awesome car for family, safe and sound. Reliable on long relations.Good comfort on front and back. Back seats 6th & 7th are a bit tight but it does what we ask. It is fun to drive and we hope many others would enjoy the same.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: comfort

Cons: speed

Its Ok. .... .i Guess — with the slap-shift I got 0-100km in 7.9sec. Nice interior. Bose sound system. Gold on outside, beige on the inside. Leather. 14-15mpg in the city 17-18 on the highway. It's very fun to drive. Nothing special. Brakes well. Handles good. No maintenance problems....yet. My trunk is messed up, needs to be fixed.

Pros: Its a Benz

Cons: Gas Mileage sucks

Amazing Value, Fun To Drive — Great balance in an SUV. Enough power, good mileage, nice amenities, classy MB look. It is meant to be a truck, not a car, so if you don't want a truck go elsewhere. But some of us want the toughness of a truck, with luxury amenities. Fun to drive -- you feel like you can handle anything that comes at you. Flies along at 85 mph comfortably on the freeway. Some of the consumer magazines have poor mouthed these, with the result that the prices on used ones are amazingly reasonable. We've got both a 2001 (175,000 mi.) and a 2002 (54,000 mi.). We'll be keeping them both for the foreseeable future.

Pros: Fun, Solid, Secure, Prestigious, Roomy, Comfortable, Versatile, Great Value

Cons: MBs are always expensive to repair.

Uhhhh.... — Ok maybe it was just the one i drove but this thing was clunky as hell for a 35,000 dollar SUV. It rattled like crazy and was not that impressive for a Benz.

Pros: As far as SUV's go i dont mind the way this one looks

Cons: Performance was lack luster, clunky, bad handling, weird control gauge

Mediocre Mercedes Suv — I've been driving this car for almost two years now, and it's in pretty good shape. It is more or less defined as a sport SUV instead of the rugged SUV that everyone seems to look for nowadays.

Pros: Nice body
A lot of electronics
Good acceleration

Cons: Loud
Space in the rear is limited
Color and interior choice are not the best

Highway Driver, Not City — Sucks gas, performs like a Volvo, though it's built like a tank. MPG of the V6 is basically the same as the V8, buy an ML500 if you are considering a Mercedes-Benz SUV. This car is easy to throw around, but does not have the power to back it up. Currently at 102,450 miles and going strong.

Pros: Safe

Cons: Sluggish
