Beaituful — Very fun to drive and brilliant handling and overall quaility. Performance for the 1.4lt engine is amazing! Cheap to buy and cheap parts, unfortunatly you will end up forking out on parts! Either way still a brilliant and fun motor to drive!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Style, a British icon!

Cons: Unreliable

Gutsy On Petrol Even For The 1.4 Version When Driven Hard All The Time — Brilliant wee car cheap and easy to run never had any problems with it, please ignore all these guys who go an about head gasket failure load of ball ive had this car nearly 2 years and runs a dream ive kept it toally standard as im it doesnt need anything done to it. Maybe a wee backbox might give of a nice wee sound to it but to be honest all ive put on it is a pipercross induction kit and gives a lovey sound that turns heads easilywhen you put foot down. Its a really good first car only costs me £190 fully comp a year for the mg zr 105+ version.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: handles like a dream as standard

Cons: none that i have found as of yet

Love It When It Works — good looks, fun to drive, great sound, - rubbish bulid quality too many problems with head gasket the main reason to avoid buying this car unless you are a mechanic and have time to keep fixing it. unfortunately this car is out of action too often

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun to drive

Cons: head gasket

Ok I Suppose — Build Quality: Has had the usual K series head gasket done, reliable though. Car Comparisons: None. She always wanted a ZR Performance: Never been able to get to it's limit handling wise! More About My Car: Corners great in the dry, skittish in the wet, stiff chassis, but breaks your teeth when you hit a piece of gravel!

Mg — loved this car when I first drove it but it wasn't very fast, the gears where a little hard to slip in but the car looked ok and was ok to drive, the cost of petrol was ok and the everything about it was just ok

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: just ok car

Cons: Cheap enough too get hold off

Steady Runner, Good Looker. — To be honest, I own it so its not in top condition anymore, could do with a few new parts but it still looks pretty good and runs well, i couldnt be without it. Low cost to run too so its pretty economical.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The colour, Le Mans Racing Green, has really grown on me, looks great when polished up well.

Cons: earlier versions like mine do suffer with piston wear after about 70 to 80k

Mg Zr 160 — Performance: 1.8l K-series VVC. 160bhp. 0-60 7.4 seconds. Build Quality: Erm exactly as we'd expect from MG-Rover it rattles and some bits are loose but who cares? Appearance: Stunning Cost of ownership: It can be an expensive hobby. Fun factor: What do you think? It goes off like a rocket and it sticks to the road like a dog trying to hump your leg. I did manage to get it sideways at Donington but with a dab of oppo I was away.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks good, sounds great, handles amazingly and goes like a good'un

Cons: Build quality

Mgzs180 — like the styling looks quite aggressive. the car feels responsive in the corners and out of them. the steering is positive and you can feel the road nicely through the goodyear tyres. nice half leather seats and nicely finished interior. one biggest dislike for me is when you lift the boot lid it does not stay up very well due to the weak springs mg fitted.build quality in general seems good mpg is ok considering the engine is 2.5 litre v6 quad cam. love the accelaration when you get a little heavy with your right foot. would recomend the mgzs180 big power for little money try one

Pros: styling ,engine

Cons: bootlid wont stay up very well
