Not That Great. — Once the waranty went out, thats when things started breaking. I think they build cars so that once they hit that certain mileage, they go down hill. I've replaced the trany and it's starting to go again. Everything under the hood is starting to break. And I think there is a union or something that all mechanic people belong to. I think they kinda fix things that you bring yout car in for, but they break something else when they send it back out. Pros: don't really like it anymore Cons: I used to love my car. ![]() Looking for a Used Grand Cherokee in your area?CarGurus has 42,615 nationwide Grand Cherokee listings starting at $2,000. |

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland — I love my Jeep because It has sporty performance and handling, off road capabilities, and luxury car interior style. I currently have 36,000 miles and other than preventative maintanence this car has not needed anything extra. I like the 2002 body style much better than the current more boxy design. In short it's fun to drive and the quadra drive II 4x4 system and electronic braking stability control has saved my behind more than once. It gets great gas mileage for a full time 4x4 with an HO 4.7L V8 at 18-22 MPG pending that you feed it the 93 octane. Pros: Very capable vehicle without sacrificing luxury Cons: Can't think of one |

Does What It Was Built For Perfectly. — Off-roading, snow, ice, and towing are no problem for this car. It does fairly well when it comes to street performance applications, but it guzzles plenty of gas to do so. Pros: PLENTY of torque. Mud, snow, gravel, ice, and towing are no challenge. Cons: Drinks a lot of gas while getting lower street performance. |

Old Faithfull — Great car, really happy about it. Had it now for 6 years and drove 200.000 km without any major problems. Comfy and spacy, great for kids. Pros: Spacy, comfy, as it is a diesel i get 10 km/l which is decent compared to my bmw doing 12.5km/l Cons: Big sluggish on the German autobahn |

Pros: Great 4x4, loads of luxury, and easy to take offroad. Cons: Expensive to maintain...... |
