Hyundai, Save Your Pennies For Something Better — Replaced Engine at 100,800 and tranny at 75,000. Besides that its a good car :P. Ineterior is nice, rides smooth, lots of room for passengers and cargo. Not a bad car for the price but I wish the engine would have made it past 100,000. I use Amsoil Synthetic in everything so it should have. But is didn't.

Pros: Comfortable, affordable

Cons: Not dependable

Hyundai Elantra Gls — Was a good car to drive. Never had any problems out of it the whole time I owned. Easy to keep clean and running well. Great gas mileage and fuel efficiency. Very spacious and very comfortable to drive. All of the extra features were useful and conveniently place for satisfaction.

Pros: Nice car to drive, easy maintain and customize.

Cons: Too slow straight from factory.

Review Title — its an okay car but its a little small and the engine doesnt have much kick. it does come with a good stock exhaust though. Also, after it sits for a few hours the gas pedal gets a little touchy and it doesnt always respond really well right after starting

Pros: gas mileage

Cons: engine size

Very Cheap Import — The latest addition to vehicles owned. Bought it from the Hyundai dealer I used to work at. Was thinking of buying another Civic, but 4 door, howver considering the price, it was newer and had less mileage. As a bonus, I worked on these cars everyday, so I kind of know them.

Pros: Economic, easy to fix, import

Cons: None at the moment

Bought To Park In The Bus Lot — I wanted a commuter car that I could feel OK about leaving in an unattended parking lot and feeling pretty sure that it wasn't going to be the one targeted... Then I had to stop riding the bus. Then I had to get an automatic because my knee couldn't keep up with the shifting. Plus it was uninspiring and I had to spend 12 hours a week in it.

Pros: Decent car.  No functional concerns.  Perfect for why I originally got it.

Cons: Boring.  Manual transmission was wearing out my knee joint in heavy traffic.  And mine was the color of dirt.  I don't miss it.

The Little Car That Could —

This little car has been a great addition. It has been a solid little performer since day 1. I think Hyundai has come a long, long way from the days of the Excel. I've put on 12 years worth of mileage on this car in less than 6 so I have had the opportunity to get to know this car real well. Mind you, this car is no race car, but it will confidently cruise at 80mph all day long and not miss a bit. Considering this car cost less that 15k when I got it, it was very well equipped, with leather interior, a very nice sounding stereo, comfortable seating, and even some nice extras like heated mirrors and foglamps. This car has been a godsend, because of it's low cost to own and drive, and because it has been a very capable little vehicle. It is a 5-door version of the Elantra and with the rear fold down seating which is 70/30 split, there are different options for carrying a mix of people and cargo. I've driven this car cross country and it has consistently delivered 32-34mpg on the highway, which has given us a range of about 380 to almost 400 miles per tank without us really worrying about pushing it. Of course keeping the car well maintained has been a key factor, but definitely those are good numbers for a car that was rated at 26mpg city/31mpg highway.

Pros: Very economical to drive and own.  Very verastile little car and surprisingly roomy.

Cons: Some replacement parts cost way too much money. For example, $890.00 bucks for a replacement rear qaurter glass.

Great Car — I love my 02 gls. it runs smooth and it very customizable. it does tend to eat up brakes but after market companies over whole brake kits for not to bad of prices to remedy this.

Owner for 1 years, 3 months

Miles Driven per Year:3,000

Pros: great MPG.

Cons: cheap and bland interior.

My First New Car — For a cheap foreign car it runs pretty good after 6 yrs. As long as you drive like me, it goes pretty well. Unfortunately the new ones are over-priced.

Pros: Leather seats, almost automatic everything standard, very comfortable

Cons: It's a Hyundai
