Comfortable, Safe And Fast — Very good for small family of 4. Quick response when it comes to accelerating and stopping. Very economic on gas mileage. Ease and comfortable to go around. Easy to park. Very fun to drive. Best car make for a couple of years. Give it a try you will not regret it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: mileage and ease of driving

Cons: space

Great If You Want To Try And Save Money On Gas And Maintenance — Very dependable, some radiator and ignition issues. Not a bad car, but I think it's not a smooth body style and highway driving seems a little scary in such a small car because it bounces constantly! AWESOME gas mileage! Interior appearance is lacking for sure, but at least the seats are comfortable, I owned the first year of this generation brand new as well and it was a 2 door.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel effeciency is all here!

Cons: Limited power and leg room for peopel over 6' (me)

My First Car — Great Car but i ran it into the ground. I recently replaced 2 bushings in the front suspension and i replace all of the brake pads. That was about 1 grand and it also needs either a repair or an all together new transmission. If i get it fixed i will probably hunt around for a rebuilt transmission for cheap. However, what is probably going to happen is im going to sell it soon and my dad may or my not give me his VW Passat.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good car, Very reliable if you take care of it.

Cons: 5 speed manual doesn't hold up too well for someone who pushes the car to the limit.

Civic Dx '02 — acceleration in average, good braking, great handling despite too soft shocks, great build quality, very reliable, average interior and exterior styling, easy maintenance, car pretty fun to drive but would need a bit more torque, like 130 lb/ft instead of 110 lb/ft, but great economic car for a smalle family, enough comfortable, with Honda's legendary reliability :)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: reliable, engine sound, fuel efficient...

Cons: little power

It Got Totalled — Performance - Stock with blue lights and a 5spd manual transmission and it was slow. Build quality - It is a Honda so it was reliable. Appearance - It was stock. Cost of Ownership - gas was cheap ($10 to fill full tank back then) Fun Factor - it was a stick shift and I drove it like I stole it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It was fun until it got totalled

Cons: It got totalled

I Love Honda — Performance - Well its stock so nothing special here, brakes ok, acceleration so-so,handling nothing special Build Quality - Weak compared to my Honda '93 Civic Appearance - Stock look but if i dress it up will look better than my Honda '93 Civic Cost Of Ownership - Parts are a bit expensive compared to other counterparts Fun Factor - Well, i get a lot of fun in its comfort compared to my other civic ('93)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: If you want reliability, looks and performance for a cheap price...choose Honda

Cons: If you hate Honda, stay away from this car

Honda — brakes good, handles well, has power depending on when you shift and how well.. it's a standard :) few scratches one it, otherwise, nothing looks gross in silver, but oh well, needs a make over good on gas i suppose, doesn't matter what you put in it, supreme, extra, or regular.. gas milage is the same Extremely fun to :D

Pros: Standard

Cons: 4 door with no tint or subs.. boo

My Honda — This is the best car ever! Well almost, its not quite as good as my future TL typpe-s. But as far as a college car, its great. I get about 43 highway and 34 city. If i do both i get between 34 and 40. One time this summer i got 50! It has cost me almost nothing in service, i had to replace one compnent. thats it! i will never sell this car. It may be slow now but when i get a k20 and a gt30 turbo this will be an extremely fast car!

Pros: Everything

Cons: Its slow

My Civic — Slow starting out in first gear, but I can beat some V6's off the line. Great handling. You can't go wrong with getting 35-45 mpg depending on where you drive. Have had to bring it in once to get the struts fixed. Custom exhaust from headers back and an AEM v2 air intake on it help with mileage and give it a little bit more HP.

Pros: Good body style. Comfortable interior. Looks small but is quite roomy inside. Tall people can actually sit in the back. 5-speed Manual  is the way to go.

Cons: A little noisy on the highway but that's partially my fault. They didn't build them to be soundproof.
