You Get What You See. Ford Quality, And A Great Little Pickup. — It is a peppy little pickup. I was worried about how comfortable it would be coming off a massive behemoth like the 90 F150. But i was suprised. Me and my stepdad can ride in it and not be cramped, and my best friend who is 6'3" has no problems driving it or sitting in the passenger seat. Decent mileage for a 6 cyl, I get about 15 city, 20 hwy. It accelerates very well, I can floor it and get thrown back into the seat. There are some small dings, but in an 8yo truck thats to be expected. I put full synthetic oil in it, so maintenance is a bit costly in that dept, but overall i am very pleased with her.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive, good mileage for pickup

Cons: cant hold more than about 3 or 4 ppl comfortably

Ranger — pretty quick for a truck, could sound better with straight pipes, brakes good though they do squeak sometimes, had to replace a wheel bearing due to mudding, i like the step side model, the 4.0 V6 like to drink up the gas i get around 11MPG, fun to drive off road, mud tires are kinda loud around 75.

Pros: pulls good through the mud

Cons: its a Ford

Big Red — The one thing that i hate about my truck is that it does not have enough power, and it does not have enough room in the cab. The reason i love my truck is that is fun to drive and i don't have to worry about what i do to it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: That i can take it any where.

Cons: it doesnt have enough power.

Love It. — Very good build quality. Acceleration is good for a 3 liter engine, fuel economy is good for its size and weight. The interior is plain Jane but comfortable on long trips. Externally Ford put on an outstanding paint job. Hauls whatever you can fit in the box.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: If you live in Iowa and don't have a truck you're a commie.

Cons: Because it may run you over.

Nice Little Truck. — Truck drives well, clutch should be stronger. Rear brakes squeak needs disc brakes all around not just on front. Overall a fun truck to own. Could use about 20 more horse power. But for what it is its okay. Thanks

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive

Cons: Get the mileage of a full size truck.

Its Very Tough, You Can Get One For A Good Price, And Parts Are Easy To Find. — 0-60 in 6 seconds, handlies great Never needed a tune or engine repair, very tough motor. exellant physical condition, though many would argue on wither its good looking. Its a blast to drive. Mines not stock though. But the suspension is fantastic for a small pickup.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Extremly reliable, tough and alot of fun.

Cons: Not the best quality as far as interior. (materials)

02 Ford Ranger Edge Extended Cab 4x2 —

This little truck only has the 3.0 liter engine. It is a little weak on acceleration but in return gets about 19 mpg around town and 20-21 mpg on a trip. The best I have ever got is 24 mpg. It has a weather tight factory bed cover on it that splits in the middle with a divider right under the split. It is almost like have a large toolbox and a partial bed. It has split bucket seats with a fold down armrest console and is very comfortable driving. The extended cab is not big enough to haul people but works great as a junk collector. The factory in dash cd changer was junk. It ate 5 cds. I replaced it with a Sony Xplod unit with MP3 input. I was pleasently surprised on winter roads. For a 2-wheel drive pickup, it done very well with just a little extra weight over the rear axle. I drove 25+ miles to work and back without any problems on snow and ice. I really like the ride and handling. I used to own a 92 F-150 and this truck almost feels like a car compared to my old truck. This truck handles very well even in adverse conditions. The turning radius is incredibly tight. I can nearly make a u-turn on a normal road. Maintenance has been very minimal. I had to replace the belt because it got to squealing. Other than replacing the stereo that has been the extent of the maintenance needed. Overall I really like this truck and plan on buying another one when this one wears out. My next one will be a 4x4 with the 4.0 liter engine and have a manual instead of an automatic.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great mpg, factory hard bed cover, easy to park, very asthetically pleasing both in and out

Cons: CD changer was junk; replaced it with an aftermarket Sony head unit, 3.0 liter engine underpowered in extended cab

Ranger Fx4 Supertruck — I loved this truck despite having it for a very short time. Peformance was amazing! Great power availabilty! I got the truck pretty much fully loaded. It would go anywhere with those BFGoodrich Offroad KO tires. Problem was it sucked gas like a V8. Ouch!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power, Utility, Fun to drive

Cons: Gas Mileage, reliability
