Buy It And Don't Look Back! — This truck has never let me down. It has the "Mighty" Magnum v6 that is bored out, have a whole slew of performance items done and audio options, and only gets better and better. Its so reliable, has the balls to get up out of its own way with 1000 pounds in the bed no problem! Built awesome, fun little truck to own and drive!

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: EVERYTHING!

Cons: Gas milage-I've added just over 200 horsepower to it and its increased to about 22 mpg highway, so its not so bad anymore if you're willing to put some time and money into it

Love It — Love the size, looks, and performance. This is RT with Kenne Bell supercharger, plus a few other mods. (lowered 3/4, Stillen bumper, AAR Hood, SLR mirrors, Aluminum Gas cover, Roller Bed Cover, Cervin rear spoiler, Corbreu CR1 Seats, MTX Sub enclosure, JBL Powering everything else. Fast and Fun, perfect project truck, that I keep adding.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Love the body lines and size.

Cons: No Hemi option

I Would Recommend Getting A Dakota — I haven't have anything real wrong with it. The ride is nice. It accelerates nicely. The handling is really good. Stock this truck get 13 to 15 miles to the gallon around town and during the winter. It gets up to about 19 miles to the gallon on the highway. Towing is nice.

Pros: I've added a throttle body spacer, cold air intake, and an exhaust system for performance.  I also added a remote starter and cruise control.

Cons: Gas milage has improved. It now get over 16 miles to the gallon around town and 24 on the highway. That's just what i have noticed.

Really Pitchable In Corners, But Can't Match The Power Or Mileage Of The Newest Big Boys. — I could certainly tolerate the terrible 11 mpg average if the engine had more power. This engine produces the same or less horsepower than most v-6's now. I like everything else about this truck....its utility, its size and maneuverability, its looks.....just the fuel efficiency and lack of power are its only weaknesses.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Comfortable, good ride, parking lot/garage maneuverability, respectable load capacity

Cons: Lack of power and horrible fuel mileage

Its A Great Truck And I Hate To Get Rid Of It. Need A More Fuel Efficent Car For My Growing Family — Performance-accelerates like a champ, brakes that could stop on a dime, and handles almost like a sports car Build Quality-it is built to last Appearance-interior and exterior are in excellent shape Cost-mileage is a solid 16/19 Fun-Truck is a lot of fun to drive

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Its a great family truck that can haul anything you throw at it

Cons: If you are looking for a fuel sipper, then you are looking at the wrong truck
