Tb — Nice SUV but Get the SS version of it because it is alot better. The motor in the SUV is a I6 which is decent for a SUV of its sie. Basically it is anice SUV to use for fmaily trips and getting around in style

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Decent to drive around in Europes small roads

Cons: Getting old now

An Outstanding Suv For Small Families. Plenty Of Cargo Space With Good Torque And Acceptable Mpg. —

The trailblazer is an outstanding vehicle. With the inline 6-cylinder instead of the usual V6, you get more torque for hauling than usual. Plenty of cargo space to begin with, but also has fold down seats for more. Though no longer in production, there is a wealth of aftermarket parts available for customization. Low-end torque is an issue with the I6, but mid-to-high RPMs let out plenty. Braking is good and despite its size, this baby turns on a dime, making tight parking lots a breeze. Having owned this truck for almost 5 years now and being over 8 years old, I have never had to make any serious, expensive repairs until just recently when the ball joints on my front suspension went bad, severely throwing off my alignment and requiring immediate replacement. Other than that, the most common problem I've read about with this truck the fan clutch giving out, one of the few and most common issue that is complained about in the Trailvoy (Trailblazer/Envoy - built on the same platform with the same engine) community. A pretty simple and relatively inexpensive repair, with a new fan clutch running you about $200 at your local parts store like AutoZone. The appearance is great in my opinion. Not too big and bulky like other larger SUVs and plenty of aftermarket parts available for the expansive imagination. Manufacturer states 14/20 MPG, but with a K&N air filter and removed resonator, I do about 16/22. Not fantastic, but it in the end, it's still an SUV. All-in-all, I enjoy driving my Trailblazer. It has plenty of power, superb handling for an SUV, and a large following in the TrailVoy community that earns it a memorable and dependable reputation.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Dependable

Cons: Achieving a low, deep exhaust note is difficult with an inline 6 cylinder compared to a V6.

For Me And My Experance This Has Been One Of The Best Vehicles I Ever Owned. — Hands down the best SUV I have ever owned. I have owned 9 SUV's in my life. This Is the most reliable, (55000 miles just get in it and drive)vehicle I have ever owned. I still have the original tires on it. All I have done to this vehicle is change oil, 5W30 Mobile One Synthetic 21 MG. and rotate tires. The power is unreal for a modern SUV, in fact that is what sold me on this vehicle, I traded a 1992 Corvette to it, so I know something about power. I also work at a auto parts store so I know about cars. I love to smoke other SUV;s with my TrailBlazer, it blows their mind.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Low cost of ownership, Gas mileage, Low maintenance.

Cons: Has a tiny speeker or vent on inside of the door frame that runs or makes a noise that knowone has been able to explain to me the purpose of.

My Favorite Suv Ever. — i HATE the front dif,we cant get more than about 3 inches of lift. handling wise it is extremely great,a tight turner and brake rotors on every tire, stops very quickly. performance wise,it has the most powerful 6 cylinder engine available for ANY midsize SUV,and is the most powerful regular production I 6 that i am aware of. not a super huge aftermarket for the engine YET,but every month we have new performance parts coming out

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: good on gas,powerful

Cons: if you like offroading, its only liftable a few inches.

A Nice Suv To Keep — you wont feel that you are driving a jeep or SUV, it is a 4x4 with luxury sedan type drive. I think it is a fun car to drive, I need a newer model, anyone interested in exchange :) 2002 with 2005 or later?

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Smooth drive

Cons: nothing I guess

What A Steal. — I have driven many many cars. Most of which I could never afford but hey I can dream. However I am a chevy lover. I have owned a fair share of cars and no not because I'm a bad driver, I'm actually a really good one but I have owned a few because my Uncle works with cars so a good deal comes in I'm the first to know about it. Lol I have owned a Saturn, Nissian, Explorer, and then my Chevy. And I will not trade my TrailBlazer for anything. No matter what condition it is outside it does awesome. I like to tell people my car will eat them because it will. I bought this SUV for 6 g's and it was a steal. I would recomed this car to anyone and everyone. Mines proforms great and besides for an oil change here and there I havnt had to do anything to it. Its a candy red with grey leather. Not to bad with gas and is a smooth ride. Great for off roading or road trips.

Pros: Everything.

Cons: Nothing.

I Miss You, Stupid Trailblazer — 2nd truck i owned. my mom crashed it into a trailer so it sadly isn't in the family anymore! great truck for family or someone who likes traveling. loved it while i had it. the inline 6 was pretty decent, too.

Pros: family car. decent gas mileage. nice back seats!

Cons: traction is absolutely terrible! at least on the '02 models...

Chevy Trailblazer Ls 4wd —

My grandma originally bought it but it was too big for her so my dad bought it off her. Now that the truck has racked up 72000 miles he wants to get a newer truck that will make pulling the boat easy. Its a dark silver with black trim down the sides. 2WD high / 4WD (auto, high, low). Grey interior. Seats 5. 400+ hp. American car so it does get a bit sticky with the problems (like the new transmission we just had to put in, and the shocks, and the struts). Overall though its a good truck that has seen its fair share of places. The acceleration is really prominent after you get past 30 m.p.h. The braking is a little odd, but its an ABS system so that is expected. The turn radius is a little wide but it gets the job done. I got into a bit of a pickle and had to rebuff the hood and fix up some of the front bumper framework, bu the interior is still comfy cozy. It gets about 18-23 m.p.g. and requires upkeep to stay running. Overall its really a great truck to drive cause you can feel the acceleration, and the power behind each push of the gas pedal.

Pros: Big truck, that wont buckle under stress. Tough and power oriented. Looks mean from the front, but has a cozy feeling inside

Cons: Not a speed monkey by anymeans, and its an American car so it has its problems
