2002 Silverado — v-6, completely underpowered, 2wd so iffy in snow. the bed has plenty of room. i can carry 6 people comfortably. the engine is awesome but is not big enough for the truck. i dont have any problems towing anything

Pros: lots of room in inside and in bed

Cons: v6, 2wd

Best Truck I Ever Owned — This truck is a very fun truck. It has a decent amount of power so there for it never has good tires. The gas mileage kinda sucks but thats what i get for buying a truck lol. I would recommend others to buy one also. Its a very good street truck.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its got good power and alot of room

Cons: The power steering acts up and doesnt get great gas mileage

An Okay Truck — Going up hill this truck has no balls! I've had to rebuild the transmission, the guy I took it to said Chevy Silverados between the yrs 99-03 will have this problem most likely. I love the look of chevy trucks but I put too much money into it for the 2 years I had it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its good to haul things

Cons: too many repairs

If I Ever Got Rid Of It I Think Id Miss It Alot — i love my truck.. everyone knows exactly who i am when they see me cruisin down the road. its not the fastest truck on the road but with a lil work you can have one of the finest ones out there

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: its a nice truck easy to fix if you EVER have to. easy to customize

Cons: gas mileage is a lil low

The Truck Is Purely Amazing!!! — Performance: 18 miles per gallon on the highway. (Build Quality) - I have had to replace the fuel pump 2 times. Appearance is great except for some cosmetic damage. Cost of Ownership is great, I only have 6 months left to pay for it. Fun factor is I can go 4 wheelin' when I want to and can haul what i want when i want.

Pros: Its a CHEVY!!!

Cons: There is none

My Truck — performance- 33" xtreme mud terrain tires, straight pipes with 5 1/2 inch tips, 3" body lift next week. build qaulity- went through a few wheel bearings from the mud and an alternator after 145k miles appearance- looks and sounds amazing! fun factor- best truck i've ever had!

Pros: big, loud, strong, and will go through almost anything!

Cons: bad gas mileage

1st Chevy — The only reason I knocked down on appearance was because of a few dings in the body other than that it is nice looking. Gas mileage isn't as bad as one would think with a full size 4x4. It is a blast to drive haven't used 4wheel drive much but maybe some day I'll find a trail.

Pros: v-8, 4x4, lots of head room and leg space

Cons: lumbar seats

Chevy Pickup — I love my truck 100%. It has lots of power. It has a very nice ride. I have it accessorized to its max to my standards. I would have to say that the 2002 Chevy Pickups look better than the newer style Chevys. My truck is a one of a kind and I'm gonna run it till the engine blows.

Pros: Performance, Looks and Comfort

Cons: None

2002 Silverado — Had to get a bigger truck to tow a skid loader around in the winter time. Even though it only has the 4.8 litre engine, it still had plenty to tow. It gets around 16-17 miles to the gallon. Working on the appearance. Has chrome flames in the grille, and chrome flames behind the 1500 on the passenger doors. Has a soft tonno cover and a tent that I purchased for the bed. Soon it will have a chrome brushguard up front. Replaced front and rear pads and rotors, but it still has a slight vibration when braking somewhat hard. I've replaced both front hubs, 1 at around 90,000 miles and the other at around 130,000. Everyone that rides in it is impressed with how it rides. I don't really notice it because I've always had trucks.

Pros: 4wd, Fullsize Extended Cab, More room than an s10

Cons: Vibration when braking, fuel prices where they are, size when trying to manuver in parking lots
