Best Performance For The Money Period! — I love this car! It has all the performance you will ever need, and it has plenty of cargo spaced thanks to the larger than average trunk. The top can be hard to manage some times and you need to upgrade the tires to get the most out of the car, but this is Corvette is one mean ride!

Pros: Fast, good looking and easy to drive.

Cons: Gets really hot in the summer and the glass removable top is a little cumbersome.

Fun . Fun Fun — another one of my parents we had a lot of fun street racing it. It was a 6 speed and a real smooth ride.

Pros: great handing around turns at high speeds.

Cons: none

The Beast — My 2002 Z06 was a beast... bottom line. It was quick as hell, handled like it was on rails, sounded like a NASCAR, and had a menacing look when it first came out. I added long tube headers, Borla exhaust, short throw shifter, VaraRam CAI, and various other doo dads to make it a little more fun and more like I wanted it. All in all, the Z06 was and still is one of my favorite cars of all time.

Pros: Rocket acceleration,  on rails handling,  and a blast to drive fast.

Cons: The usual complaint with GM as a whole and Corvettes in particular... cheap interior.

Hang On, We're Going For A Ride! — Great performer. Gets better as it is pushed harder.

Pros: Engine, handling, fuel economy, looks

Cons: Noisy interior, ride is somewhat stiff for street use

Best Car I've Ever Owned By Far, Everything I Wanted. — This car had face peeling acceleration, ridiculous lateral grip, and ass clenching braking.

Pros: Power, handling, braking, style, presence, fuel mileage (when driven appropriately), unbelievable bargain at the time.

Cons: Seats have no lateral support, still carries that old gold chain wearing stigma with some people.

Wanted One Forever. Will Keep This One Forever. —

Its no slouch stock, but if 350 hp/ 375 tq isn't enough LS-series engines are very great engines to build up. Cold-air intake exhaust and a flash program will net a lot of performance for the buck. It handles like, well, ummm.... a Corvette! The styling of the C5 compared to the C6 is not as aggressive, but I believe it is sleeker/sexier. Also, the C5 has more interior space than the C6 and, in my oppinion, a more aesthetically pleasing not only to look at, but to function in as well. Another bonus is the suprising amount of storage available in the back. Even with the targa top secured in the back, the storage compartments that are built in offer plentiful storage oppurtunity. A contributing factor to the amount of storage was the lack of a spare tire. This is because the front and rear wheels ae two different diameters, and the tires are rotational. That also means that because of the lack of a spare tire, all Corvettes meant for the street need to have Run-flats installed. They are expensive to say the least. Some could look at this as a benefit though and say that I wont beat on my car as much. In the end, EVERYTHING on the car will last longer, and will HOPEFULLY be cheaper to maintain. That thought process is out there, I know, but work with it ; ). Some of you may say that insurance and gas on a Corvette must be rediculous, but it is only $20 more per half to insure the Corvette(in my name) than to insure a new Chevy Aveo(in my name). That is 11 cents a day I know that I am willing to spend. As for gas, If I am driving to get good gas mileage, 30-32 mpg is no problem at all. I do play around a bit though, but on average get mid-20's. One of my favorite parts about it is that it is MINE! Corvettes are one of the most affordable true sports cars, but in my age range, there is a certain amount of exclusivity about me being a 22 year old driving my Corvette around.

Pros: Styling, Performance, Handling, Affordability (trust me), Exclusivity

Cons: I will never have a slow, ugly car again : (    ........ lol

Most Fun Car I've Ever Owned — Wow, at the time, 405 hp was amazing. Now the base vette has more. And the current Z06 has 500+ and the new ZR1 will have 600+. This car was still a blast to drive and was an awesome deal.

Pros: Engine

Cons: Sun visor

One Car That"s Loads Of Fun To Drive And Gets Impressive Gas Mileage — I own a 2002 Magnetic red Vette. Neat that you can have a car you can be proud of and gets good fuel economy at the same time. You know other car fans when you pass by and they stop and look and wave. It"s one of the most fun cars I"ve ever had and enjoy detailng it and it shows your hard work.

Owner for 0 years, 1 months

Miles Driven per Year:8,000

Pros: awesome style.,power when you need it, attention getter

Cons: Treadlife on tires should be longer and more attention to reliability
