Someday I Will Have A Nother — acceleration is just the best thing i ve ever drivin. Handling the M3 is one of a kind no dents and the tire are in great shap as well. Not sure how it would do in the snow but what a summer car. If you dont like a quick and sporty car then this one not for you

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: love the car need to buy a truck

Cons: that i am saling it

The Standard For The 4 Seat Sports Car — Your passengers will love the rear seating when the top is dropped, albeit a little more leg room could make it even better. Its a sports car with 4 seats. The seating is much better than the 911. She handles superbly. The 01 and )2 did not come with front strut bar and its a must have to improve overall handling. Great car to toss around. Its is comfortable and exciting to drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Compact, comfortable, luxurious open air driving

Cons: Stock muffler needs help, mpg because you are always on the gas

Amazing Car — This is my brother's M3 and let me tell you this- very fast, and very fun to drive. Once my Jetta is tuned, we will be racing eachother. His car has 333hp stock, but he also has an exhaust on it, my Jetta has about 325hp with the help of a turbo.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Bmw M3 Value — If you have every owned a BMW, then you know the joy of the ultimate driving machine. The BMW M3 however is on a different level of ultimate driving machine, its level is racing machine. Bmw recommends racing oil for the engine, and keeping it well maintained. The M3 is a beautiful car to own because it handles, looks good, and is respected by people who know. The negative is that its not an every day driver car. It gets low miles per gallon, not a family car, terrible in the winter, and seem to have loss remarkable value within a short period of time.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fast car, handles, and looks good, at times respected by those who know M3.

Cons: loss in value, not suitable for everyday driving, not a family car. Very terrible in winter conditions

A Beautiful Sports Coupe That Would On A New Level If It Weighed 2-300lb's Less. — I've always loved the styling of the e46 m3. All subjectivity aside though this is a great sports coupe with somewhat expensive maintenance costs for a German car. The only downside I felt though is this car felt heavy for a 2 door sports coupe.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Exterior

Cons: Feels heavy for a sports coupe

Fantastic All-around Driver! — I have had this car for nearly eight years and it has been a blast to drive. The original owner took European delivery and only drive the first 21,600 miles. I do still take it every 15,000 miles to the dealer for the routine "inspections."

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun to drive! Surprisingly good gas mileage when driving conservatively. I love the e46 style, can't stand the newer Bangle designs.

Cons: Driver seat is getting quite worn in isolated spots. Don't know who works on leather. Convertible top can be flaky and it is not currently working.

If You Can Afford It, Buy It — Provided you know how to maintain an engine correctly this car is a beast and cant possibly let you down. knowing how to work on it yourself is definitely recommended to keep maintenance costs down to a minimum. the car is incredibly reliable provided you treat it the way it deserves to be treated. its fast and handles like a champion, you dont have to worry about riding it hard as long as you take care of it correctly. fuel economy is pretty impressive considering its got 333 horsepower, driving conservatively i average about 25 mpg.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun to drive, fast, eye catching, sticks to the road like glue, lots of great performance upgrades available

Cons: gas prices suck, hard to find the correct engine oil (10w-60), tires can get pricey

Do It — Good car for the money. Great drive with the top down. Goes well with 333hp on tap. Turns a lot of heads when the S54 snarls past 8000 rpms. Handles like a sports car should, tons of grip and high speed stability.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fast top

Cons: bad mpg

Awesomeness — Comfty, pretty quick, handles like a dream, and RWD. Braking is penominal, and turns on a dime. Built ROCK solid. Looks sick and turns heads everywhere. Cost of ownership is not bad provided nothing breaks....lol. This car is just simple a blast.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: EVERYTHING

Cons: Cost to fix broken parts

Great Car For Performance And Drivability, Whether It's For Track, Sport, Weekend Drives, Or Daily. —

This car is absolutely amazing right off the lot. Plenty of power and great handling at lower speeds. The car has a lower center of gravity giving it great balance when cornering. Having 330 hp is great but being rear wheel drive with all that power has it's disadvantages, for example if you try to power through the corner a little to early it will get away from you before you realize it. This car is one of the best looking performance cars on the market without modification. I purchased tis car used and have had to do a lot of work to it to get it back to factory condition. Cost of maintenance is quite high from the dealership, however if you can find a good local garage that repairs them it becomes affordable. Parts for the car are expensive no matter what but if purchased from a reputable dealer are top quality and very reliable. From the factory the car will only get you about 25 highway mpg and 17 city, after modification to the engine and cautious driving I get about 32 highway and 26 city. I have put nearly 15K into the car since I purchased it a little over 2 years ago, but it was well worth it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This car is great for an affordable and reliable sports car for the driving enthusiast

Cons: High maintenance and upkeep costs
