This Is Actually The Other Halfs Motor — This is the club sport version with hardened sports suspension and reduced noise dampening for a "sportier" feel. Still feels like a luxe motor to me. Has excellent pick up but drinks fuel like an alcoholic drinks vodka. In Estoril Blue and full leather interior and mpower badged by BMW.

Pros: The "sensible" car of the family

Cons: None really

Great Car But Everyone Hates You — Fast, nice-handling and well-built, but no-one ever lets you out of side-turns because everyone hates BMW drivers, so its actually one of the slowest cars I've owned.

Pros: Engine

Cons: Image

I'm A Customer For Life! —

I have a 2002 BMW 325i sedan. It has the jet black exterior with the black leather interior with the burl wood trim. I purchased the car at a used car dealership in May of 2006, with exactly 60,500 miles for $21,900. Today (November of 2007) the car has 92,000 miles and has not given me any trouble what-so-ever. In the time I have owned the car I have made a few changes. I have purchased aftermarket rims (because the stock 17 inch rims from sports package were a little small in my opinion), tinted my windows, and got a personalized license plate. I am 20 years old (and yes I purchased it myself with my own money ; ) and I love this car!!! I am a BMW owner for life! I plan on having this car forever, and once its paid off I will probably buy a new one. I think this car has a perfect blend of looks, performance, power, etc. I wish the seats were a little more comfortable. I have the stock Sports Package which has the firmer suspension, bigger wheels (which i replaced anyway), and firmer seats. Any ride over an hour kinda gets to my back, but all in all i love the ride. the car handles awesome! it corners wonderfully and the car almost begs to be driven quickly. despite the modest 184 hp engine, the car really gets up and goes, especially when you are on the freeway. the car has excellent passing power. there is a noticable difference though if you have 4 or 5 passengers in the vehicle. or if the air conditioning is on. or if you run on regular gas. but with premium gas, and just you and 1 passenger, the car hauls pretty good! hmmm.....what else. im trying to write a real helpful review. not a short one. lol I love the xenon lights. they light the road up beautifully and get lots of attention. I have the standard bmw business radio, has lots of bass, but the acustics could be better. i would STRONGLY reccomend making sure you buy one with the harmon/kardon sound system, that radio sounds wonderful. the powered memory seats are a nice touch, and i love the ambient lighting on the inside of the vehicle. there is a soft orange light that lights up the whole interior of the car at night. its beautiful. the back seat is kinda small, only fits people up to about 5'9" comfortably. if you are 6 foot or more your knees will touch the seats in front of you, and your head will be close to the roof. the trunk is kinda small, but unless you haul lots of luggage around or go on lots of road trips it should be fine. just the normal trip to grocery store or target is fine. the gas mileage on this car is pretty good too. i drive a little on the 'spirited' side and i average about 23 mpg in mixed driving. on the hwy if i keep it at about 70 mph i average about 30 mpg. on the freeway at about 90 mph i still average about 25 mpg. the city driving is what eats the gas. i only aveage about 17 mph in the city. insurance on this vehicle is a little high, as it is considering a premium sports sedan. but its worth it. the car is very very very safe. just check out the ratings and photos from the crash tests. they are very safe cars. my brother is a chp (california hwy patrol) officer and he is always seeing car wrecks. every time he goes to an accident involving a bmw the occupants are almost always unscathed. even when a bmw rolled down an embankment the pt only had a couple bruises. and you cannot put a price on safety! not sure what else to put. hope this helps. oh um....the maintenance is expensive. the car only needs to be serviced every 15,000 miles (which is nice) but each time it cost me about 500-700 dollars. and i needed new brakes in the front which cost me about 800 dollars, jsut for pads (no rotors) and just in the front. all in all this is a wonderful vehicle that i truly love. my mom owns a 2004 acura tsx, my sister a 2001 mercedes benz e420, and i have friends with a lexus, and infiniti, etc. ANYWAY, everyone loves my car, and the bmw always gets the most attention from everyone. when i first got the car everyone thought it was brand new. even after riding inside of it they still thougtht it was brand new. when i told them it was a 2002 with 60k miles they were shocked. it still drives strong and runs smooth. even today with 90k on the odometer it drives nice. i love this car and am a bmw owner for life, i will never stray from this brand. i think this car cannot be beat for the dollar. yes its expensive, but you get a lot for your money. this truly is the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE ; )

Pros: performance, gas mileage, xenon headlights, handling, resale value, safety, prestige

Cons: 184 hp, small back seat, expensive to maintain and insure

Sporty — Built solid. Fit and finish are still great after 90,000 miles. No rattles at all. A pleasure to drive especially with the top down. Seats are supportive for around town but are tiring on long trips. Still looks great after 10 years.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great handling

Cons: Poor gas mileage and tight back seat

An Overall Decent Car — Handles like a dream, looks great and just wonderful to drive. Spacious and comfortable combined with quite good fuel economy for a car this size. The looks are quite a lot better than the sedan or compact in my opinion. Room on the back seat might be limited if like me you're a long legged driver.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable and honest car with good fuel mileage

Cons: Maintenance at the dealer can be quite expensive

Handles the road well, just not as luxury. More sporty. Not as good for clients to go in. Smaller area and less horsepower.
