2001 Seat Leon Review

Best You Could Buy, Pound Per Mph. — 180bhp at under £15k - need I say any more?! The handling wasn't as raw as a Civic Type R or RenaultSport Clio, but the 1.8 Turbo engine was superb and it was a good all-round package for an everyday car.

Pros: Speed and price.

Cons: Slightly soft handling for a hot hatch.

The MK2 Seat Leon was launched in 2005. I have the 2006 model with a few options. Good fun car to throw about, but the 1.9 TDi lets it down. Opt for the 2.0 TDi with the 6-speed box. Much more refine... Read More
