Good Car, But Recent Questionable Noise — The Saturn L200 has served our family very well since 2001. recently we have experienced some noises and lower performance which the Saturn dealership in Paramus, New Jersey has been unable to deal with. First the key wouldn't turn properly and they accused my wife of basically not knowing how to turn a car on. Now the noise I described and they seem clueless. I don't know if the service is kidding and don't want to do the work or if they are truly as ignorant as they claim. Either way is not too promising.

Owner for 7 years, 3 months

Pros: Love the car, the gas mileage, the handling.

Cons: Key sometimes doesn't turn.  Strange grinding noise on occasion

Plastic Fantastic — It made a lot of strange noises, and, well, I just can't have a GM. I inherited it through marriage.

Pros: Won't ever rust, alright engine, fairly balanced car

Cons: It's a Saturn, sorry, um... highway noise, the panels don't fit in the winter, the frame is all that's left if you leave in near a heat source.

Our Third Vehicle...sturdy — This sturdy vehicle has given us some trouble, but so far it has been doing it's job for us. :) It will have to do for a little longer.

Pros: Good gas mileage

Cons: Every year we have to fix something!

Good Dependable Car — I've owned this car since 2004. When I bought it it was 3 years old and had 65000 miles on it. Since then, it's been a dependable car. Started every morning, still handles well, great 28 mpg, low maintenance. I will miss this car once I sell it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Dependable, high mpg, low maintenance, looks good. Great cargo space to haul stuff.

Cons: Not flashy or sporty.
