Excellent Vehicle For Small Family, Or Weekend Offroader — I love the low torque of the Xterra, it is excellent offroad from the factory, but if you are thinking of more the 3 inch lift is definitely a worth while option. A little bit under powered and runs at high RPM`s on freeway but no issues other than typical wear and tear at 120000 miles.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: torque and offroad capabilities

    Cons: gas mileage, amenities

Cool Soccer Mom Suv — I love it's versitility. The SUV sounds great with the cold air intake and exhaust baffle removed. The vehicle is great in the snow and off road. It's looks maybe rugid but the interor is simple. I wish I had another one.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Torquie, and sounds awesome

Cons: Multiple shades of red paint, not 4 wheel drive, and supercharger still not installed.

Its A Ok Car For An Suv — bakes suck, the engine is a little weak compared to a ford, love the appearance, gas was good but maintenance sometimes was sometimes pricier being a Nissan. Fun car to drive and drive fast on back roads not easy to flip

Pros: nice truck its been sad its a girls car but i think its manly too

Cons: its a nissan what else

Best Suv Around — The handling on the car is amazing. With the power steering and a decent flush, the wheel is so slick. Additionally, the brakes and lights also work amazing. I love this car because it big and I can fit al my friends into it. Driving around town with the windows down and music is best with friends. The exterior is silver and keep it clean to show the gleam. Fairly cheap, got it as a Christmas/birthday present. Around 60K miles and great maintenance. Just had a transmission flush and oil change to good mileage.

Pros: Great size and easy handling for an SUV

Cons: Gas mileage not the most efficient

2001 Nissan Xterra 4x4 — This is a solid truck that is excellent off road, even stock. Even though it is under powered at 170 HP it still holds its own. Gearing is just right. It still has the manual 4x4 shift rather than the push button. It has decent cargo space with and almost 0 lip rear opening.

Pros: Excellent off roading machine, solid ride, manual 4x4 shift, full size spare, only about $100.00 in non PM work paid out in 7 years, towing is excellent!

Cons: This year was greatly under powered, mileage, Illinois has very few off road areas. A little cramped on family trips with 2 kids.

We Love Our X~! — Good performance and handling for a 4WD in the city. Repairs have been minor and DIY. Cool Xterra styling. Great roof rack and storage options. Could be better on gas mileage but that didn't bother us when gas was still under $3.00. It's fun to drive. Good view of the road.

Pros: Reliable, versatile, easy to repair when needed.

Cons: Not big enough now that we have 3 boys.

Excellent Suv — It is red color, it goes, it is big, and it took me places. it is happy if you change the oil as prescribed, goes on and on. what else would one want from a car? i loved it. roomy interior, lots of space for even a cross country trip. reliable, always easy to find in a parking lot: it is red!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very reliable ,large for all of the things i ever wanted to bring home, like ikea furniture boxes, plants, etc. lots of room, good looking suv.

Cons: could be cheaper on gas.
