Silly Boys Jeeps Are For Girls! — Absolutely my favorite vehicle! The ONLY reason we traded it in is because our boys were getting older and didn't fit in the backseat very well. SO fun to drive, especially in the summer. Didn't get very good gas mileage, but who cars - it's a jeep! No problems with it ever. Dealership that we traded it to, sold it in less than 2 weeks!

Pros: Fun to drive!  Handled great!

Cons: Not very good gas mileage

Best Suv Ever — This is by far the greatest vehicle I have ever owned. Can go through anything, very reliable, great in the summer with the soft top and the hard top is nice in the winter. Looks great, and you can actually feel the road. gas milage is kinda poor though. oh well

    Pros: everything

    Cons: gas mileage

My Jeep — A jeep is amazing..you can use it to tow your boat, drive in the winter with 4x4 on , go offroad, top off in the summer to the beach, bring the dogs, great for camping, good for vision, high off the road, add lots of cools tuff to it, and the 4 banger is good on gas, and they look nice.

Pros: 4x4, good on gas, great for offroad, highway, good for camping, pulling my boat, fun for summer with doors and top off.

Cons: a little slow acceleration, rusts in spots, not a lot of space.

Eye Stopper — My car is an eye stopper. Soft top, cd stacker. needs a little work as i want to do it up with chrome and big 32 tyres. Its one that when you travel down the beach everyone stares at it. It can perform anywhere, especially on the beach it handles very well. i have heaps of fun driving it around.

Pros: the soft top is great in summer

Cons: it can get a bit annoying putting the top on and off

I Will Never Buy Another Suv Except A Jeep From Now On — my jeep has a custom smoked out paint job that i painted, 3.5 inch rubicon express lift kit that i installed,33x12.5 15 pro comp xtreme mts, flowmaster 40 series exhaust, 4.0 L I6, will go anywhere i want to go and do it in style....its the ultimate convert, and dose very well on the rocks

Pros: looks good, makes summer time fun, has no boundries

Cons: gets 10 miles to the gallon, only prob i had was that i had to replace the clutch master cylinder at 55k and it was not covered under warnt

Jeep - "it's A Jeep Thing" - O|||||||o — I once did a 180 degrees on the 101 going South bound, avoiding a car that suddenly changed lane in front o fme and braked. The Jeep Wrangler made the 180 degrees and across the 5 lane freeway, unturned (thank God!). I must say, who ever say that Wranglers are unsafe and easily turn-over has been proven wrong, at least on that day.

Pros: A classic.  Mostly manual - proven engine.

    Cons: Mostly manual.

    Its A Jeep Thing.... —

2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport (TJ). Has yet to die on me no matter what. Gas mileage blows in comparison to a car (18 average). Solid axles fore and aft (D30/D44) so it rides like a tank, 231 t-case with a 2.72 gear reduction in 4L. The bullet proof 4.0 mated to the truck edition of the NV3500 series tranny; Currently using the 04 version of the 3550 due to the implementation of real bushings instead of paper. Factory equipped with 30" rubber along with a set of 3.73s to push em and an LSD equipped rear end, one could go to 95% of the places in the world stock...... But stock isn't perfect. OEM brakes blow due to the relationship between the piston bore size and pad sweep area. A quick call to Van down in LA and a set of revised knuckles and dual piston calipers off a Ford Exploder fixes that problem nicely. The D30 is internally sealed inside the diff leaving the tubes open to fill with crap. Tube seals fixed that up nicely. Stock diff covers are made out of 1/8" thick stamped steel. Good for curbs, horrible for anything else. Some 3/16" cast steel covers from Rockcrusher was the solution. The original exhaust was kinda quiet and all told boring plus I6s have a unique tone that should be heard, hence my Dynomax Super Turbo I installed. For 00-01 the stock tranny blows. It was the first time the NV3550 was made for Jeep, and New Venture gear screwed up. Later versions of the tranny were beefed up. Thanks to the PO destroying second gear for me, I had a good excuse to upgrade. Interior is a nice mix of classic design, neutral plastic and many rattles and knocks. Its a Jeep, it comes with the territory. Heep has yet to break down on me. However, there is very few OEM parts left on it. Engine, t-case, and the Tub are some of the few stock pieces left. Everything else I've either replaced due to wear or upgraded.

Pros: Convertible top, 4 liter engine, stick shift, 4x4, PA horn, its mine

    Cons: Gas mileage.

We Used The Jeep To Pull My Dad's Old Truck Out The Mud. — It was a good first vehicle. It was tough. I was in 2 small accidents with this vehicle, and it suffered little damage.

    Pros: 4wd

    Cons: gas mileage, rough ride

City And Terrain — - Beasty but playfully adventurous - Stable but slides wen cornering in the wet - Cant do long dist. at >130km/h but excellent accelerator response on lower gears - Cool in the summer breeze and insulates more than u'd believe in winter - Excessive fuel consumption (maybe its just my driving?) ~$80 a tank -> New models'll give ~400km?? not sure about the 3.8Ls though. ALL IN ALL, WOULDNT TRADE IT FOR ANYOTHER!

Pros: If u learn to drive smoothly in this car, u can drive any other manual half asleep!

    Cons: it INHALES petrol....
