All In All If You Can Get Past The Electrical Porblems That Occur... It's Great 4 Mudding Or Pulling — For the most part it is all in all a good ride... needs some improvements on the stock hitch they place on it... but other than that it's a good ride... it has pulling power, pretty luxurious... straight sixes take the market on pulling power! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Good gas mileage while pulling... Cons: They have electrical issues |

A Great Reliable Car, Perfect For Family And Fun At The Same Time. — Awesome drive train! Has problems with the rear tail lights going bad, and I'm talking about the housing not the bulbs. Rear hatch has broken, passenger window has broken. Been in an accident, (not my fault) and crushed the other car and came out with hardly a scratch! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The 4.0 is the best part! Cons: Little nagging problems. |

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo — 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I bought it used in 2004 (with about 25,000 miles on it) when I got into an accident that totaled my Chevy Venture. I like it overall but not as well as I loved the Venture. In comparison the seats are lacking in the Jeep. I have owned it for over 4 years now and haven't had a major problem with it...unless you count the engine blowing at 40,000 miles - I owned it less than 6 mos at that point (yes I put 30,000 miles on in a year). I had a warranty of course (thanks to Dewy!!) so it was covered. Since then, no problems. Exhaust is starting to rattle a bit but come on it is 8 years old and I live in Northern Michigan!! It handles extremely well. Is very quiet. Gets about 15-20 MPG (I usually get the lower end of 15-16 as I am in the throttle all the time-and have tickets to prove it.... :( ). Finally is it fun to drive-yeah not bad-It gets around really well in almost any weather, yet hauls the family to church or on a roadtrip just as easily. I can make it slide around an icy corner perfectly and I haven't ever had it in the ditch!! I would highly recommend this to parents for teenagers. The uni-body construction is one of the safest bodies out there for kids to learn on. I also feel safer having my family in the Jeep too!! Right now I have 140,000 miles on it. Would I buy another one.....perhaps if I couldn't find another Venture. Pros: Drives like a car, hauls like a truck, quiet even at 80 mph, solid uni-body is safest in my opinion Cons: Seats can be a bit uncomfortable, not enough adjustment on steering wheel vs seat, things seem to fly around in vehicle easily while cornering even at low speeds |

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee — This is a wonderful all around vehicle - definitely more of a "mom" vehicle than the M. I can load up Kory, the dogs and whatever else I need and have plenty of room. Love those heated seats in the winter! It is a full time 4WD which is good enough for the winter weather conditions here in Richmond. Pros: Handles well, plenty of room Cons: MPG |
