Its An Alright Car If Your Me Ill Say That — acceleration sucks, braking and handling are alright. i dont personally think it has a good build quality something in the back is rattling and it pisses me off. appearance dosent really matter to me...its bad enough im driving a korean 4-banger! gas mileage is a great success and i can fit 3 bikes with still 3 people so im happy about that:) its not all that fun to drive but it gets the job done!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 3 bikes complete

Cons: disadvantages of 2 door

Ella — THis is a liitle car that gets great gas mileage. it doesn't look that good but hey, it gets me from point A to point B without a problem. It starts every times and runs smoothly. THe best part about this car is that it is a stick. I LOVE the manual tranny. It is so fun to drive and really easy to learn!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Manual Transmission

Cons: It's black

Horrible Car. — This car sucked. I couldn't say one good thing about it. I had problems with it every month. I paid $4800 for the car and had to shell out at least $5000 to repair it. It was not fun to drive at all.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: No reason to drive this car.

Cons: Everything.

Accent — That thing is junk after 60,000 miles. Many maintenance bills. Suspension is low grade and can't take much normal use. I have replace the rear wheel bearings four times plus the struts twice. Performance stinks with more than one person in the car.

Pros: cheap

Cons: high maintenance past 60,000

Korean Plastic — Meh. The Accent has no character & no soul. It is reliable, cheap and easy to park however. It's built well enough for the price, but there's just something missing. It's light and nimble and easy to control, but cold and lifeless at the same time.

Pros: How much it costs to run

Cons: When you have to tell people what you drive

S%$tbox — check engine light won't go out changed 4 sensors, getting rusty, clutch went, goes like a sloth, cramped interior, no a/c, back windows fixed in place, door handle broke off, excellent mileage, decent looking car, front wheel bearings expensive to change a lot of parts expensive

Pros: gas mileage

Cons: everything else

2001 Accent Gl — 2001 Accent GL purchased in Oct. 2007, 79,000 KMs, perfect condition, 5 spd. manual, 1.6L I4 DOHC. Alpine CDA-9886 deck, 2x Kicker 5 1/4" speakers (front), 2x Alpine Type S 6 1/2" speakers (rear). Great car for what I use it for, definitely not high performance. Great gas mileage.

Pros: GAS MILEAGE!!!

Cons: Low Performance

Okay First Car, But Not Recommended — This was the first car I ever owned. Someone hit me and it ended up being totaled. Gas mileage was good. In the first year of ownership, 2 belts broke! I had to have it towed and it was a new car...luckily it was covered under warranty. Interior styling was good for the price of the car, and exterior was nice looking. However, it ddi not take much for the car to be totaled & the air bag did not deploy.

Pros: Interior/exterior styling, gas mileage, warranty

Cons: Mechanical, acceleration, handling, air bags
