Reliable, Quality, Dependability. — It is a Honda which means it is reliable, will run forever, does not have many bells and whistles, and gets the job done. Mine is a gold, EX, without leather, with a 6 disc CD changers. There is plenty of trunk room, and plenty of room for 4, sometimes 5.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: You need reliability.

Cons: You want flash and dash.

Great For Budgets — It handles really well, only problem is if you floor it. It's quite old, so it deserves care. The brake pads need frequent attention, but otherwise I love how charming it is. Very versatile: both sophisticated and simple, depends on what the occasion is. I am never out of place on this one.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great mileage

Cons: Lousy interior works

Accords Are Better Than Camry's —

My new car that i bought from my sister with 95k. Performance: Quick and Smooth pretty much sums it up. V6 engine is silent at idle but makes a nice intake howl when the tach sweeps past 3500rpm and when the VTEC kicks in there is a noticeable surge of acceleration. Build Quality: at 105k the interior looks like it has half that mileage. A couple of squeaks and rattles but not as bad as my old camry, Very tight construction overall. Appearance: I added a rear spoiler, fog lights, and moonroof visor and the car still looks sharp to this day, even tho the design is from 1998 its still a very nice shape. And it looks sporty with my honda accessories. I think this one looks better than 2003-2005 sedans. Cost of Ownership: Needed some maintaince last year because of age but has never left me stranded. I am concerned with the weak automatic transmissions but mine is the original so im hoping it will be fine. Gas mileage is 18 mpg city and 26 highways which is not bad for a V6. Fun Factor: Steering is very precise and give a very good amount of road feel, unlike toyotas that have very numb steering. Engine sounds fantastic when revved and is super smooth all the way to the 6300 rpm redline. Drives much smaller than it is and i enjoy racing people at stoplights ;)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Smooth engine, nice highway ride, decent highway fuel economy for a V6, Resale Value, Reliability

Cons: 18 mpg in city, Weak Automatics, Could use more low end torque

Of Course My Next Car Will Be Honda Accord. — My Honda Accord sedan v6 2001 passed 400001 miles last week, yes 400001. The engine is still very smooth and quite almost like new, it does not take oil between changes. Of course my next car will be Honda Accord.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: smooth performance of V6 engine

Cons: is not for free

Honda Euro R — Accord EURO R! A great 4 door sedan with above par performance. I had raced a Skyline turbo on the street and I beated it by very little. The Recaro seats are so HQ. This is a great 4 door choice for non-turbo car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: almost everything

Cons: brakes

Not To Buy The 2001 And Lower Models Of The Honda Accord — Not a very reliable car! The lx model is just a waste of time and money. I'd recommend buying the ex model it has the same features but they are better for example the speakers the engine. When there is high milage the car is not very good. It is not a gas guzzler

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very good gas milage

Cons: Not too reliable

Old But Still In Style — I bought this car used from a dealership and wow!, even though it's 8 years old it looks and drives as though it is new. it had 143,000 miles on it when i got it. the motor a 3.0L V6 has tons of power that allows not to get bogged down in traffic. the seats are nice all the little things that honda dose to make the car what it is are right where you want them. nice cluster and smooth trany even if its an auto. one thing i could use is a roof which i did not get. this would allow the car to seam bigger than it is. with a nice set of winter rubber im sure this will be able to get me from the mnt and home with no problems. this car is the reason honda is what it is today.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: V6, power everything, TCS, ABS, CD player

Cons: no roof, auto, but hey those things don't really count

Fast And Reliable — Best car i've owned yet. the engine note becomes wild and addictive. Sometimes it's hard to believe that the Accord is a front-wheel-drive car. incredible front-end grip. so few cars around that offers such a fine combination of pace, practicality and phenomenal grip. and as for reliability? its a Honda, says enogth.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: speed, handling and reliability.

Cons: the fact that it has a boot so its not very practical

A Very Refined And Fun To Drive Family Sedan In Need Of The 7th Gen Accords 5 Speed Automatic — It is really fun to drive and much more exciting than my old camry :P I just wish the 6th gen Accord's didnt have the stinky transmission problems. Mine is at 100K and is original and hoping that it stays that way ;)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: if you want a quick family sedan with some added sport

Cons: If you want to drive a car that doesn't guzzle gas in the city
