Great Work Vehicle With Plenty Of Power And Stylish Look. — This truck is solid and very dependable. I have not have any problems w/ the truck and I have ~148K miles on it. It has a fairly new bed liner. The dealer service is great and the maintenance costs are very reasonable. This truck has very good build quality and has very good performance. I would highly recommend this truck to anyone.

Pros: Power, performance, reliability.

Cons: None

Reliable, Powerfull Truck. — I really loved this truck, and even though it was a V8 it was actually not that bad on gas. it was powerful and it had great acceleration I really have nothing bad to say about this truck, if gas prices go down again by some miracle, I will buy another one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great truck I loved it. it was powerful, reliable, great towage. mean looking and smooth to drive.

Cons: Aside from being a V8, nothing really it had issues just like any other car. nothing bad to say about it really.

Love It Its A Powerful And Strong But Useful Vehicle — I loved the car in general it worked for cities and country because it wasn't a huge truck but it was big enough and strong enough to kick up the speed or haul a lot of stuff in the bed seats keep your back extremely straight due to very limited reclining from no space but it was ok gas mileage sucked for a 1500 version pick up was great in sense of blind spots and maneuverability repairs weren't bad till I went mudding acceleration was fast braking was ok normal for a truck and I felt safe cause I was bigger and higher then everyone else.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: its a great standard work truck but unless you have a truck box its not good as an everyday use vehicle due to limited space unless you get a 4/6 seater

Cons: as I said about limited space DONT GO MUDDING UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY

Ford F150 - Well Built And Long Lasting Work Truck — I have 10 F150 XL V6 models from years 1998-2004 with mileage ranging from 100k - 275k. I have gotten to know the trucks very well. They are reliable and well built. The problems that have been common to them all is the ball joints, sway bar bushing, intake manifold gaskets leaking(keeps engine light on) and the odometer read out randomly goes on and off. Other than that the regular maintenance is fairly low cost. I've never lost and engine, transmission or rear end. I continue to purchase the same make/model of F150 because I have not found a better alternative for the quality and price. I would recommend the Ford F150 XL V6 to anyone looking for a reliable light duty truck.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Reliable. Well built. Long lasting.

Cons: Front ends are a lot of maintenance. Odometer read out goes on/off. Intake manifold gaskets leak.

Sunken Harley — I really enjoy the whole truck. There is nothing done to it that I would do differently, other than the headlights. I will be fixing up what little imperfections it has, and it will be my show truck. It is a real head turner!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great ride for being low profile, as well as lowered. Amazing pick up power for being stock, other than the intake. It stands out from every vehicle around town, and I've always wanted one for years. It has every option, except the sun roof, and it has a multy thousand dollar competition series sound system, and a PlayStation 2 custom mounted in the back center consule.

Cons: You hear every single rattle going down the road, and things have been shaken loose from all of the bass the sound system has.

01 F150 — Performance - Great power, Great brakes, and she handles like a truck. Build Quality - no big issues, just general maintenance. Appearance - she has some minor dings, and scratches but all in all shes extremely comfortable to drive. Cost of ownership - She sucks gas! its a V8 truck... Fun Factor - even though i have the smaller V8 she has more than enough power to spin the tires, and get me through the mud, and brush.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Love the Truck, not a fan of the mileage.

Cons: not a fan of the gas costs...

Get An Undercoat Everyone — Bought truck and drove it for a year. Significant rust damage to rocker panels, doors, and all along drive shaft and under bed. Should have known- it was from up north. $5000 with $200 for new u-joints, 200 for putting undercoating on myself, $15 for headlight bulb. I would say if you buy the vehicle make sure you look for rust all over the vehicle. AND GET AN UNDERCOATING if you want it to last more than 4 or 5 years!!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap parts, even with the rust it still ran good. Liked the amount of bed space I had and roomy backseat. For being over 10 years old with the amount of rust it had, the quality of the steel was excellent. Kid hit me and totaled the vehicle out but his SUV (Izuzu) was crushed mine had minor dents.

Cons: Why didnt ford focus on improving there gas mileage like toyota and nissan did. Drove a V6 F-150 and it felt underpowered. 5.4l which is the engine I got- got about 15-16 city and 18-20 highway, 22 highway was my record. Rusted U-Joints were very difficult to fix and required taking to a shop with a 10ton press. Cloth seats were ok. Could have been of nicer quality. Oil filter is kinda difficult to get a fuel strap around.

Huh? — A work in progress, not enough power or ground clearance, needs better bumpers, heads, bigger camshafts, and a power adder of some sort, pref. belt driven. The lift kit will have to wait until another type of fuel efficient transportation can be aquired. Works well now as is but there is always room for more power and bigger tires.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks, function, sound

Cons: Lack of power
