Sunken Harley — I really enjoy the whole truck. There is nothing done to it that I would do differently, other than the headlights. I will be fixing up what little imperfections it has, and it will be my show truck. It is a real head turner!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great ride for being low profile, as well as lowered. Amazing pick up power for being stock, other than the intake. It stands out from every vehicle around town, and I've always wanted one for years. It has every option, except the sun roof, and it has a multy thousand dollar competition series sound system, and a PlayStation 2 custom mounted in the back center consule.

Cons: You hear every single rattle going down the road, and things have been shaken loose from all of the bass the sound system has.

01 F150 — Performance - Great power, Great brakes, and she handles like a truck. Build Quality - no big issues, just general maintenance. Appearance - she has some minor dings, and scratches but all in all shes extremely comfortable to drive. Cost of ownership - She sucks gas! its a V8 truck... Fun Factor - even though i have the smaller V8 she has more than enough power to spin the tires, and get me through the mud, and brush.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Love the Truck, not a fan of the mileage.

Cons: not a fan of the gas costs...

Get An Undercoat Everyone — Bought truck and drove it for a year. Significant rust damage to rocker panels, doors, and all along drive shaft and under bed. Should have known- it was from up north. $5000 with $200 for new u-joints, 200 for putting undercoating on myself, $15 for headlight bulb. I would say if you buy the vehicle make sure you look for rust all over the vehicle. AND GET AN UNDERCOATING if you want it to last more than 4 or 5 years!!!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap parts, even with the rust it still ran good. Liked the amount of bed space I had and roomy backseat. For being over 10 years old with the amount of rust it had, the quality of the steel was excellent. Kid hit me and totaled the vehicle out but his SUV (Izuzu) was crushed mine had minor dents.

Cons: Why didnt ford focus on improving there gas mileage like toyota and nissan did. Drove a V6 F-150 and it felt underpowered. 5.4l which is the engine I got- got about 15-16 city and 18-20 highway, 22 highway was my record. Rusted U-Joints were very difficult to fix and required taking to a shop with a 10ton press. Cloth seats were ok. Could have been of nicer quality. Oil filter is kinda difficult to get a fuel strap around.

Huh? — A work in progress, not enough power or ground clearance, needs better bumpers, heads, bigger camshafts, and a power adder of some sort, pref. belt driven. The lift kit will have to wait until another type of fuel efficient transportation can be aquired. Works well now as is but there is always room for more power and bigger tires.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Looks, function, sound

    Cons: Lack of power

Ford F150 Supercrew Best Truck Ever! — Best Truck I've ever owned! Had to replace the battery and the Shocks this last year, found out that the old ones were the original! The truck has 150,000 miles on it, still rides and drives like a champ! I've added some custom stripes and logos to it, the previous owner added a tonau cover. I LOVE MY TRUCK!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It looks like its brand new, ( cuz I take care of it) and it just won't stop running.

Cons: Gas Mileage, and Leather seats in TUCSON!

01 F150 Is A Great Truck Over All — My F150 had the 5.4 so it was really quick at the time i owned it i was looking for a super charger but couldnt find one. This year was built pretty well coils would go out once in a while but thats the only problem i ever had out of it. For a truck it got good gas mileage. It was great for driving on trips and very comfortable, however supercrew trucks with tan interior and red paint aren't me so its gone now.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great truck well built with good power and awesome ride.

Cons: coils were not cheap had to replace 3. other than that it was just personal choices my step dad made when he bought the truck that i didnt like such as red paint, tan interior, super crew cab.

Very Reliable, Strong And Comfortable For Either A Work Truck Or A Daily Commuter. — Before exhaust and the engine swap, it was a tad mild mannered.. After the exhaust - which removed all the cat converters - the engine really opened up in the low RPM range. The truck had over 300,000 km when I bought it though, so the engine was weak, worn out. After we swapped another 5.4 into it, it ran like a top, and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Sound, power, ride quality, seats, custom exhaust, custom stereo

Cons: Heavy on fuel, but that's mostly my fault for driving it so hard. Plus, leaks power steering.

Amazing Truck. — The 1997-2004 style F150 is the most visually appealing to my opinion. This truck is awesome and I love the roar of the engine. It has great acceleration. The only con is the fuel economy. It handles great, responsive breaks, and the smoothest power steering I have ever used! You can literally steer with one finger. This truck is fun fun fun!!!

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: That Ford Rumble and the power.

Cons: Pig on gas but totally worth it.
