Stuarts Car — Tis a pretty good car for the price that i paid. Runs well, not too bad on fuel. The leather interior gets hot in summer and cold in winter, but i dont care cos i love leather. Needs some good beats tho, the stock cd player sucks.

Pros: 4wd means i can take it anywhere!

Cons: needs darker tint and better air con and phat beats

2001 Ford Escape — Unibody construction helps it handle better than most SUVs on a frame. Not as top heavy. Build quality is avg. Have replaced the air conditioner compressor and a strut mount on the front, both high cost repairs. 4X4 goes well in the snow. Overall I'm very satisfied with it, but am looking to trade soon for something more fuel efficient around town.

Pros: Versatile and comfortable.

Cons: Could have better gas mileage in town.

Safest Vehical Against Semi Colission. — I like the fact taht its good a nice sound system in it for an SUV i dont liek it that my radio doesn't show time. oh well. will have taht replaced. It is a very strong car. My car has already been backed into once by a semi truck and it stayed in once peice. the only part that gave way was the Rear driver side door. the windows exploded liek a firework had hit it. but in any other words its a Strong Safe and Sturday car. Also dependable.i've goon at least 2000 miles over the limit on my oil change and still had oil in it.

Pros: Safe and strong.

Cons: the front head rest doest adjusts

2001 Escape — This has got to be the best SUV out there. I was getting about 26 MPG and it had 4WD. It could fit 8 comfortably and still have cargo space. The interior was pretty basic but clean. It was the perfect vehicle o just load up and go. The only reason I got rid of it was because I had alot of miles on it and my warranty expired. I also wanted to get a convertable again.

Pros: great gas mileage, seats many

Cons: basic interior

Nice Truck — The truck is roomy has a good ride and equipped with the V-6 it is reasonably quick. It handles off roading reasonably well and gets good mpg for this segment.

Pros: MPG 18 City 27 Highway, Ride, Roomy Interior

Cons: Interior Design, Seat Comfort

2001 Ford Escape Xlt 4wd — I got this truck in 2006 with about 92,000 miles on it. Two weeks after purchasing it, I had an unfortunate encounter with some water. After replacing the engine, it had a problem with the catalytic converters breaking apart. Since there are no emissions testing here in Michigan, I just broke them apart and cleaned it out with a shop vac. Other than that unfortunate experience with the water, I've had very few issues with the truck. It has great acceleration and suspension, though it's very easy to turn it around on an icy road. The appearance is typical of era Ford Europe design, but no frills. Though, the interior is surprisingly roomy in proportion to the size of the truck. Gas mileage, after installing a K&N filter, is 26hwy and 20city. Not great, but not bad for an SUV. I think that's the same as what the Flex is supposed to get.

Pros: Interior room, Auto AWD capability, power output

Cons: Mediocre fuel economy, bad engine intake design

Owned It For 7 Yrs & Are Completely Satisfied — With snow tires, it goes like a snowmobile in the whitestuff! Decent mileage if you keep the sweet sounding V6 from revving. Basicly, we love the thing.

Owner for 7 years, 0 months

Miles Driven per Year:11,000

Pros: Roomy, but not huge!  Quick, agile, & good price

Cons: Folding down back seat is a pain (stupid removeable headrests!)

"More room & space in Escape"
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab SB better.
"The bed of the Ranger allows more cargo & hauling capacity than the enclosed limited space of Escape. The rear seats can be folded flat to increase cargo space in the Escape, but still limited via roof & rear hatch opening space. Roof rack has a weight limit as well."

"More room & interior space"
Would Buy Ranked 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab SB worse.
"As a family, the room and space in the Escape is a better choice for me. We do also own the Ranger, though, and it is a very good truck."
