Strong — preformace in my dakota is alright but you have to remeber its a truck. Build quality is good. Apperance is alright its got some paint chips. Gas is alright it gets decent mileage. This is a fun truck to drive even though its not a full size.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

The 01 Dakota — This Truck has been with me for over five years. I beat the bag out of it and it still runs strong.some body damage on the hood and pass. fender. The back bumper is a little dented and the power steering leaks. Nice work truck.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: can take a beating

Cons: No power windows, 10-12 miles per gallon.

Great Truck! Don't Let Gas Get You Down — This truck has tons of room. Also being a v8, my truck will take off at the red lights. The gas can be a drag sometimes with prices like they are now, but believe me it's worth it. And finally the 4wd is great for getting out of those tough places.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 4wd

Cons: gas

Want Another. — amZing truck. solid and high quality w/o having to be a full size. MPG aprox 14-16 depending on routes (based on 5.9L V8) w/mods can reach up to 22MPG. plenty of room both in cab and in bed. not a thing it couldn't do.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Power, Muscle, Quality, AmZing Sound

Cons: MPG not so good

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: runs awesome

Cons: NOTHING

Great Truck! — This has been a very reliable truck. It has the Jeep 4.7L V8, which every mechanic has referred to as the "sweet" engine. Personally, I like my 2001 Dakota a lot better than the new ones they make today. And it looks almost new inside and out, despite being 8 years old.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable, looks better than new Dakiotas

Cons: Don't settle for anything but the 4.7L V8.

I Love It And Hope To Own It For A Long Time To Come — It's small in size but big in engine. It has the acceleration for the fun and the power for the work. Throw a flowmaster dual exhaust in and have some fun. A/C broke but what cars dosent. 17 mpg isnt bad for 4.7 V8.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Versital and powerful

Cons: If you dont like trucks

Good For The South, Bad For Snow — I owned this when I lived in the south and as trucks go it was nice, it didn't go off road because its just a 4X2 but I had to trade it in for a AWD when I moved up north into the land of snow.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: fast truck

Cons: 4X2
