Awesome Vehical. — Car is very entertaining to drive and is incredible well balanced between performance and luxury. It is a BMW after all. The sport package really is amazing as this engine is the same as the same model years M3 engine, combining it with grip and functionality make it a wonderful machine.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Awesome performance, great handling all while being sophisticated.

Cons: Is really low to the ground, almost like a sport coupe

2001 Bmw 530i — I have had my 530i for 1 years now. It has been a solid reliable car. It handles really nicely and has tons of power even for having an automatic transmission. The interior is spacious and is very well appointed in leather and only a small amount of wood trim. It seems just right. The quality of the materials are great. My car has about 86000 miles on it and the interior still looks very close to new. There are no rips or tears in the leather, really no signs of wear at all. The car is in great condition.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: hrilling to drive
Luxurious ride quality
Clean exterior styling
Low miliage

Cons: Expensive car
Cheap cup holder and location

Sporty Family Wagon. — I love the power and handling. So fun to drive. No major issues in close to a decade of ownership. Very safe and reliable car. Sound system is great. There is plenty of cargo space and there is enough room for 5 large adults. Gas mileage could be better but it could be my lead foot ;-)

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Really fun to drive.

Cons: None

Mine — Outside of the stereo, this is quite possibly the finest automobile I have driven. It is serviceable, thrashable, and fairly easy to maintain. Besides, smoking someone off the line in a wagon is the European thing to do. Try it. You'll like it!

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Styling, handling, driveablity, fuel economy.

Cons: Stereo and electronics

E39: The Last Of The Good Looking 5 Series — Fast & Nimble for 3700 lbs. Gremlins in the electrical system. Small back seats. Most everything about the m5 enthusiasts like- less the engine, & Limited slip differential for half the price on insurance & maintenance. This car was featured opposite the Toyota Corolla on a website explaining cost of ownership. Balanced, powerful and connected. 6 speed is just fantastic. Most stop light racers don't see it coming.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Brilliant performance, sleeper, pulls all the way to 155, safety/solid car

Cons: cost of ownership, electrical/display/cooling system issues
