Painfully Reliable But Horribly Dissapointing — Every time i get in this car and turn the key, it's a massive disappointment. From the sound of a 4cyl idling at 650rpm, to anything you do to it, it sounds (and acts) horrible. Push your foot down to the floor... you'd expect SOMETHING to happen, right? No. It will simply quietly and "efficiently" move off the line - THE GRANDPAMOBILE.

    Pros: great on fuel economy

Cons: horrible automatic box really doesn't help performance of this car
disgusting appearance - have you ever seen a worse looking car rear?
    it's got about 2 horsepower
no leg / head room (i'm 190cm and struggle in it)
stupid placement of stereo - on TOP of the dash - yes... like they put a box on top.

My Current Ride! — So it's getting better--this car is "old reliable"! I bought it from my Mom, and keep it regularly maintained. It runs like new after many miles, and is holding up nicely. Nice power and handling for a 4-cylinder, as well!

Pros: I finally got a car that isn't a junker!

    Cons: I still can't afford a nicer car!  :(

Wolf In Sheeps Clothing!!! — Toyota Corolla 1.6 SR VVT-i I've owned this since Jan'04. When I bought it, it was totally standard. Engine performance is good, assisted with Veriable Valve Timing and a 6 speed transmission (put it this way it surprises a lot of people off the lights!) The handling left a lot to be desired, so the suspension has been upgraded which has just transformed it. I love driving the car now, its very satisfying after a long days work too drive home in. A few body mods have also been done. 17'' Team Dynamics GTO alloy wheels, TTE side skirts and front spoiler complete the styling. This is the longest I've ever owned a car, I just can't bring myself to sell it. Maybe its because its as rare as rocking horse whats name, and I know I'll regret it one day. If I do then it'll be for something equally as rare or iconic.

Pros: Exellent reliability, its got that badge.......need I say more!. Great engine and gearbox. Good residuals.

Cons: Handling isn't great on standard models.
