Great Car — The styling is amazing and the engine is strong just does not respond well to bolt on's. Very reliable and good build quality. Excellent handling, this car held the record for 60-0 and slalom and skid pad for any car under 25K new

    Pros: quick, good looking, reliable

    Cons: could be quicker

    I Loved This Car. —

I loved this car. There were two reasons it had to go. 1) wife was pregnant and 2) couldn't afford, nor had the space to keep 3 cars I bought this car new in Feb 2000. Got all the extras (leather, moonroof, etc). This was my first sports/sporty car. Me and the missus loved jsut going for drives in it, even though the suspension was quite rough for everyday cruising. However, having said that, the tight suspension meant that cornering was insanely good, like it was on rails. The acceleration was decent, there was a noticeable "bump" in the power around 5500Rpm (almost like a turbo, but way too late in the power band to be useful) This is the only car I've driven that I've ever felt comfortable going 200Km+. Very stable, no speed wobbles. Braking was great. She was really good on gas, despite needing premium fuel. The back seats are more of a suggestion than a reality. Head room is a bit iffy with the moonroof if you're taller. However teh room in the trunk area was phenomenal, especially witht he rear seats folded down. Build quality was great. No real repair issues. some computer part was replaced undera recall, but other than that, just oil changes for the 4 years i owned her. I did get toyota to install hooks to keep the floor mats in place. They kept riding up and bunching under the accelerator. Somewhat dnagerous. I noticed in later models it became a standard feature. Also, the leather along the side of the driver seat cushion split. Toyota replaced it without question. I loved the looks of this car. When it first came out it was quite a head turner. I would often smile to myself as I noticed pedestrians turn their heads and mouth "nice car" as drove by. Every now and again I miss it. except in the winter, when it was frightening to drive her. Probably partly my own fault for never investing in snow tires. Every year I said I would, but never did.

Pros: Fast, fun to drive, looks great, roomy for a sports car. Storage room

Cons: Head room, but other than that nothing.

A Gas Sipper That Actually Looks Nice — Great little car. I easily get around mid 30's mpg, and I love how it is styled. It handles around turns with ease. Could use a little more power, but that's not an issue with how good it is on gas. I bought it at 118,000 miles, and I put over 5,000 miles on it. The only thing that needed repair so far was the air intake. This is my first car that has not needed repairs every month. Great for a young driver, and small people, although i would not recommend to people who demand lots of comfortable room.

Pros: Looks, handling, mpg, great even with high mileage

    Cons: Small interior, average power

My Opinion — looks fast and clean wish it had turbo and supercharger. lowered for better handle. amazing wheel response great for cornering and has a good pick up rate for accellaration just once again wish it had turbo to really give a little extra at the top end. want to add lambo doors and a new body soon.

    Pros: great cornering

Cons: needs more giddy up in the end

My Toyota — This is my first car. I don't like that it only has a 4-cylinder but that's ok. It gets great gas mileage! It is white so it shows when it barely gets dirty. The only time its been taken to the shop is just to get minor things done. I have installed two 12" subwoofers in the back with a 500 watt Kicker amp. Its really fun to drive if you like to be loud and lower to the ground.

    Pros: Good gas mileage

    Cons: No hatch space

Reliably Quick And Comfortable To Drive. — My car was defiantly not the fastest or the most sought out car but it was fun and reliable to drive. I could get in a race with most other drivers on the rode and hold my own while looking stylish! I suggest a Celica to any car enthusiast who appreciate a well made race car.

Pros: Reliable and quick, comfortable and great amenities. Toyota long lasting

Cons: not the most power in the world

2000 Toyota Celica Gts — Got the car with 48000 miles on it. It runs like a dream. Handling is great especially after I installed aftermarket sway bars. The VVTL-i system is what makes this car so fun to drive. Great appearance and styling and there is a big aftermarket support for this car so you wont have to worry about finding parts.

    Pros: Handles great

    Cons: None

Reborn Celica 2000 — It's a wonderful, gorgeous looking car. It has a relly good handling and amazing braking power. But stock, even the GTS lacks in accelerations, it's inseane, even a jetta with twice less the power can beat you in a stop position, anyway the stock supension is also way to stiff, it's alright for a sport use, but if you're riding i the province of quebec, it can become really annoying after a while. So that's why I decided to go big with this car, the GTS, if well viewed is a great platform for tuners, it's good looking, good frame, great engine,... I modified almost every aspect of the car to the frame, passing by the engine to the electrical wires,...After almost 3 years of work the reborn celica feature a turbo kit with a GT2871RS turbo and an aquamist system, new suspension, brakes, supported frame and an amazing bodywork....

    Pros: the look, the power

    Cons: confort, space problem

Celica Gt-s — My car has great acceleration, braking, and handling. I only wish it were rear wheel drive. The body is good; the doors squeak when they open and close but not much. Its interior is cool and the exterior is interesting. Gas mileage is good, haven't needed to give it maintenance yet. I love to drive this car. It is like playing a racing game and driving all of your favorite cars. I must say this is one of my favorite cars just because of how fun it is to drive. A rear wheel drive train would be much better but it is great either way.

Pros: Performance, Appearance, and fun to drive.

    Cons: Not much.
