The Smart Choice... — Very strong 90hp! Real good power with great economy. Good handling :) It has good build quality but the interior door holders are made with a fragile material... It looks cool for a van and it's not bad in comfort. Although is powerful, it's not a very fun car to drive... I don't feel much pleasure in it. For me, it's the cold way of some german brands like VW group or Opel. One bad thing about this model is the tiny buttons in the central console all together. It's made or to woman's hands or to use with the car stopped... Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Power; Economy; Nice equipment in a Van; Handling; Re-selling Cons: Ergomic of the central console; cold feel in driving; Price of used cars ![]() Looking for a Used Ibiza in your area?CarGurus has thousands of nationwide listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

My Awesome Ibiza. — The Ibiza was introduced hopefully, it will build on the reputation of itâs predecessors that were awarded the title of âBest Supermini of the Yearâ by What Car?. In 2008 the Ibiza also won the magazineâs âCar of the Yearâ award. The Ibiza is available in both 3 and 5-door versions litre petrol engine. My car it's a 5-dr FR with the 1.8 20V T petrol engine, which is reasonable and (as far as I can tell) only one of two supermini's offering 1.8 engines for the money. The other is the Volkwagen Golf - many expensive-. Installed in the FR, the 1.8 turbo-charged unit produces 150PS at 5,800rpm and 220Nm of torque is available between 1,950- and 4,500rpm. This seems more like diesel territory than petrol and, I have to say that, on occasions, it sounds like a diesel too. However, that is easily ignored, when the drive is so engaging and the faint turbo-whine is delightful. Pros: Performance, development and power. Cons: expensive cost of parts and fixes. |

A Save Car — I bought this car to have a car that a could rely on. I needed to be sure that it could start every morning, and that it was cheap to fix, and didn't break very often. Likes: The interior, very nice light in the dashboard, and everything seems to be right where you would want it to be ;) Dislikes: None at the time, mabye that is a little blend :/ Pros: It's simple Cons: it only has a tapeplayer, and the radio i build in :( |

Bye Bye Civic Type-r! — As standard this SEAT Ibiza Cupra 20vT is pretty much the same as the normal Golf GTi (as both are owned and made by VW) although the Cupra is much better value for money. It gets many standard extras over the Golf GTi for example half leather, climate control and slightly more bhp. What makes this even better is that when it was new it was also far cheaper than the Golf GTi. This car was what the Golf GTi should have been but sadly as the Golf GTi got older it just got fatter and slower. The build quality is excellent and there are many styling touches that made this car unique to any other Ibiza in the range. I spent quite a fair bit of money modifying this car but it was worth every penny. Some of my modifications were Koni Coilovers, Brembos 4 pot brakes, Mille Miglia HT3 alloys, Custom exhaust system and many engine modifications to name but a few. All these modifications resulted in a car that produced over 210bhp and that would out perform many cars 3 even 4 times value. Pros: High performance at a low price. Cons: Well as you can see it's yellow (although I will add it's a nice yellow!!!) |
