Great Car If Your Not Spoiled — Amazing performance off roading, but sub par on the road. Very reliable and very well built. Nearly all maitenance can be done by yourself if you want to. Gas Mileage is'nt that great, I only get about 13 mpg and on hwy only about 17 mpg, which is really pretty terrible.

Pros: Reliable, Unbreakable, Go anywhere in any condition.

Cons: Poor sound system, Gas milage.

Rugged — Simple and practical, it will take you from point A to B all the way through Z! Not too big not too small, can seat 5.

Pros: Will go where you want it to, It's a jeep thing you would'nt understand!

Cons: thirsty engine (4.0L 6cyl) , hard to get off the back seat.

Sturdy, Reliable, And Great In All Weather Conditions. — This Jeep has been the best investment I have made. I bought it with a 4 inch lift kit and oversized tires, and also had some mods put on the engine. The handling, acceleration, and traction are amazing. The only problem is, as with most SUV's, it sucks up gas.

Pros: Sturdy, Off-roading Capabilities, Towing Capacity

Cons: Gas Mileage, Size Of the Backseat

Very Good, Reliable, American Off-road Vehicle — I thought that Jeep could make this vehicle more versatile in the snow in the absence of 4WD, although my Jeep had 4WD. I like the space in the trunk and the back row is spacious for a 6 ft or smaller passenger. The air conditioning compressor went bad at 60,000 miles, that was a $1,200 fix. I lacked the turning radius I have in my present car, a Toyota Corolla. The steering on the Jeep was loose, not sharp, like many American cars. My drivers side blind spot was pretty bad b/c the driver side passenger window shape restricts great vision right behind driver's head. I think the seats were average if at all possible, these should be improved. Overall, still a very fun and reliable car to drive and work with.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Very strong chassis, good transmission, built to last, easy to maintain (not technical like European cars), a lot of room for creative modification

Cons: The rear-end can fish tail on a full tank of gas in the rain (I know it's picky, but it bothered me), bad gas mileage

One Of The Last Real Jeeps — easily customizable both cosmetic and suspension the great old 4.0 the ever so awesome aw4 trans. goes any where i ask even with basic street street tires and a budget 2" boost. boxy design makes it different from everything else out there

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its a jeep

Cons: poor brake preformance

These cars speak for themselves. Last one rolled off the line almost 20 years ago and you still see a ton of them on the road. Manufactured for almost 20 years. 84-01

Value Ranked 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport better.
"Wranglers hold their value better than Jeep Cherokees. They are also ALL 4x4. Only some of the cherokees are 4x4 if it was added when bought new. "
