If You Are Just Cruising Or Wheeling They Do It Well. — It is lifted and looks almost stock the way that it was done. I would recommend that you pay attention to the brand of lift that you go with and be prepared to have heat issues as they like to get warm and stay that way.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The best anti-wrangler out there.

Cons: Police package has no seperate information as to the parts

Jeeps Rock — this is a solidly built vehicle (aren't all jeeps??)... my only peeve is that it uses so much gas, but the payoff of a solid, reliable engine and 4 wheel drive make it very much worth it! But then... who didn't know that about a Jeep?? =]

    Pros: reliability

    Cons: gas mileage

Amazing — you cant go wrong... it will do anything. the quality of the jeep is amazing, its absolutely bulletproof. loads of torque and i can spin the tires, even with the auto tranny and oversized tires. you can sleep 4 in it, so long as people are cool with sleeping in front seats. back seat folds down for a comfortable two-person sleeping area :D

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: go anywhere, do anything

    Cons: nothing...just gets 15~mpg

Awesome Car If You Don't Need That Much Power — Has good handling and solid contruction, like a tank! but it has not alot of power. it also has very rough suspension, but what do you expect from this vehicle? its not a luxury car. Also not very good on gas.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Awesome and fun to drive!

    Cons: bad on gas

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport — In the 5 plus years I have owned this Jeep, the only thing that has been replaced is the water pump. I have done the brakes a few times and replaced the spark plugs and air filter, also installed a 3 " Rough Country lift kit and 31 " tires. It has been and continues to be a great vehicle

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The way it looks and rides with the lift kit and 31 " tires

    Cons: A/C does not work

Jeep Xj (cherokee) — i love the 4.0 inline six, its a solid engine with plenty of torque, I love solid axles front and rear, the 8.25 is a little weak for lockers as well as the front d30 and optional axles are hard to find. The simplicity of the overall vehicle makes it great for off road as far as repair and build are concerned. The unibody is its greatest downfall, a frame would have made the xj one of the best. Otherwise I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Pros: simple, 4.0, easy reapair, beutiful in all its simple glory

    Cons: Unibody, small axles

2000 Jeep Cherokee (xj) — This jeep is a good vehicle for me. Poor fuel mileage (19 mpg Hwy) but excellent off-road ability. The drive-train is pure Jeep, and the bearings, t- case and axles are strong. I have a 3.5" Rubicon Express lift kit, with new coils and leafs, along with superlift shocks (the shocks are cheap junk) I love my Heep, the build quality is horrible, but so was everything Chrysler made in 2000, so a few squeaks and rattles don't bother me, and for the engine, I couldn't ask for better. (Except for alternator mounting location)

    Pros: Off-Road ability

    Cons: interior fit and finish

Best Vehical I've Owned — I really REALLY loved my Jeep. It could handle anything I threw at it and more. Its inline 6 cylinder 4 litre engine was great. It purred! The 4 wheel drive was buggy at times after they moved up from the manual transfer case to the electronic shift... but thats technology. I washed and waxed my Jeep regularly, so the finish was superb always. After 130k I noticed little rust spots in discreet locations. Sure the front bumper was rough, but thats to be expected... its a bumper! Even with the prices of gas these days, I'd love to get my hands on a similar Jeep to the one I had, just for grins and giggles!

    Pros: Nothing it couldnt do

    Cons: Electronics, Gas Prices

2000 Jeep Cherokeee Sport — this thing has a 3 and a half inch lift kit, 31 inch tiers. when i bought it i hated it because the motor blew up and it was constantly needing work, my airconditioning dosent work, it still needs some work and i have been driving it for 6 monthes, gas mielage really sucks i get about 12 miles to a gallon, i do need to go mudding to see how it does,

    Pros: it looks cool

    Cons: its a jeep

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport (xj) — Although Chryslers QC was in the toilet at the time this Jeep was built, my heep is bulletproof. Some of the things that I don't like are the squeaks and rattles, but these are worsened by the off-road adventures that make it so fun to own. I'm seeing approx. 20 MPG at best hwy with 32" tires and a 3.5" lift kit, which to say the least isn't great, but if I wanted good fuel mileage, I'd buy a Smart car.

Pros: Go anywhere drivetrain. Decent bearing life, good axle/tranny venting (above hood level for all) excellent torque.

Cons: Poor alternator location, gets damaged durring deep water fording, needs a Wrangler pulley set if hood clearance allows.
