P!nky's Review — Overall it is a good reliable car to have everyday. The performance on this car is that of a boat. It doesn't handle very well because it is a truck. It's appearance is great and it looks good. The cost of ownership is good, it's a reliable vehicle for maintenance, as for gas well it runs on unleaded and E85. It gets about 20 mpg. This is a very fun car to have with everything we have going on in Minnesota.

Pros: four wheel drive

Cons: too high up, bad gas millage

Ford Ranger Suck — gas milage sucks. The only thing good about the truck was when I rolled it over, none of the windows broke. I would never buy another ranger in my life just cuz the mpg is like 14 - 16 mpg. i would not recommend this truck to any one looking for a truck.

Pros: good for roll overs

Cons: gas milage

2000 Ford Ranger — Best small pickup I have ever driven, though i do wish it was offered with at the very least 4.6L V8 if not the 5.0L from the explorer of the same year. It was a great car to drive with great gas mileage, and the 5 speed transmission was tons of fun on winding roads.

Pros: Fun, economical truck to drive, looks great.

Cons: Could offer a V8 since the explorer of the same year has one.

Perfect Truck — This Truck is an amazing truck. It will get you anywhere you need it too. It rides smooth and it handles very well off-road...even though mine is just a 2WD. It is also a I4 5spd Manual so it does very well on gas. It is a very economical truck for any college student. It does very well on gas. The truck brakes very smooth, has an amazing trun radius. It is built solid with little maintenence. The interior is typical for a truck. The earlier models design was not as good and Ford really ddint make any changes to it until the newer 2007 model year. Now the truck looks absolutely amazing. I would reccomoend this as a first car and for college students.

Pros: Reliable Truck

Cons: body design could be better

Moyer's Ranger — I love my truck, altough its a little sluggish on power, but what do you expect from a 3 liter. Te truck is built very well, and handles like a dream. The only downsides are that it doesn't have a whole lot of power and the gas milage wasn't what i was expecting

Pros: Good solid truck

Cons: small engine

Drifting — Great truck for drifting in the snow. In Michigan tons of snow and ice you want to drift. Get a Ranger. Also dirt roads are not too much of a problem unless you do 75 mph. I love this truck when it dies all get another Rear-Wheel- Drive car thanks to my Ford Ranger btw the next car i get will be Japanese

Pros: its fun

Cons: costs money because of the cars and mailboxes you run down

Yes — The 3.0L SOHC FFV engine is very reliable and has good torque, but slow. Never had a problem with the engine or components. The tranny is weak but gets the job done. Handles like a tank but dropping it 8'' doesnt help that. Can take a turn like a champ! The brakes are aftermarket bc of the 20'' wheels i managed to squeeze in there, but work good. The frame of the truck is very solid along with the rear axle. The inside is pretty nice. The look of the truck is very eye pleasing with nice body lines and curves. Rangers can look real nice when done right. I got the truck with 45,000 miles for $8,000. I think thats pretty good. Also it gets 23-26 mpg highway. Maintance is regular. The truck is fun to drive around town, shows, smooth roads, and turns. I love drivin mini trucks!

Pros: good mpg, light truck, offroad

Cons: 3.0L pretty slow, is a little on the heavy side for a light truck, doesnt have 4 comfortable seats

Good Standard Truck That's Neiher Too Big Or Too Small. — I would recommend this truck to anyone looking for a mid-size truck. It's kind of short, but it has more comfort for longer rides as it rides more like a car than a full-size truck.

Pros: Good, reliable, solid mid-size truck.

Cons: Gas mileage averages 18 mpg and that's about the same as full-size trucks. For the same mileage, I would rather have a larger truck that has a higher towing capacity.

My 2000 Ford Ranger — I love my truck because it has been extremely faithful. Even after all this time it still looks almost new and it still runs great! The only thing is that it's a 4-cylinder and I wish it had a little more power.
