I Like It — The Ranger is a very good little truck that isn't so little. Plenty of power, looks good, decent fuel mileage - but I can only speak for the 4.0 liter engine and 5 speed auto combination. Has been a very good truck since I bought it new in 2000.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It has 4 wheel drive

Cons: It is kinda small

2000 Ford Ranger — Good Truck but it doesnt have alot of power but what can you expect from a 3.0 V6. the appearance is nice and the build quality is great. Gas mileage does lag though and gets only about 18mpg on a good day. But it is fun to drive and will go through alot before it stops.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Nice Little Truck

Cons: Bad gas mileage and low power

The Ranger — Its only got a 160 under the hood so its a little under powered but it is definatley better than a little 2.3 L ranger. Ran a 17.6 at mapple grove. Gets between 15 and 17 around town and just over 20 on the highway. Not too bad for a truck

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: It gets better gas mileage than most other trucks

Cons: Its underpowered compared the the 2001+ models which have a 207 under the hood

Lay It Out! — Performance is so-so but just for the look of it I can drive all day long! Well built with good quality overall, easy to lowered tru a lot of aftermarket parts available for it or raise it up for go everywere stance!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its ORANGE and its UNIQUE

Cons: no real motor ... yet!

I Plan To Buy Another Ford. They Make Fine Vehicles — Bought it brand new in 2000, maintainted it well and has 72,000 km on it. Stellar performance, 6 cyl, excellent gas mileage, still looks and runs great. Had the brakes redone in 2008, runs like stink, big fun, love it!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its the # 1 selling truck for a reason. Quality

Cons: None

Good Vehicle, But The 4.0 Is A Better Engine Than The 3.slow. — It was a very reliable truck, but it was very slow. I loved it more when I bagged it and shaved it! Mileage sucked, but it was awesome for cruising and dragging the hell out of it. Great for carrying my boards.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It was a decent truck.

Cons: Power sucked.

Not Bad For A Lil Truck, Lol — It was a pretty good first vehicle. I ended up getting 50,000 extra miles out of the spark plugs without damaging anything else. Even with good tires it did not handle that well in rain let alone snow. I'll have a truck again soon in the near future but at least I did have a pretty nice sound system in there.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I was able to upgrade the speaker system since it was cheap to buy.

Cons: Not very fast and didn't handle well in bad weather

Basic But It Does Its Job — base acceleration, limited off road, and repairs from reckless driving, but she aint never done me wrong. shes been through hell and high jumping, but shes survived it all and keeps on running. love that truck, feels like home when driving it

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: decent mpg for a truck, has aits utilitarian attitude tuned up, has survived a lot more than you would think

Cons: not a preformance/offroad vehicle

If You Need A Light Duty Truck To Last A Long Time And Not Break Down, Buy Ford Rangers. — This car has been durable without many problems at all. It does what you expect of it for a long time. I have had it inthe shop twice for non-maintenance issues. Not fun to drive, but gets the job done.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: It's a Ford, Baby!  And it lasts!

Cons: Not Fast, Not Furious

My Green Ranger. — This truck is pretty nice, its got plenty of room on the inside, its got a decent and reliable engine in it (3.0L V6), The truck is pretty fun to drive also, it gets decent mileage for a truck that size, and its also a flex fuel vehicle, so i can buy E85 ethanol and it wont hurt the truck at all, its pretty easy to dress the truck up too with a bug deflector and some rain deflectors on the windows, also u can put some stickers on it :)

Pros: The truck bed has a fiberglass shell, so it doesnt rust around the wheel wells.

Cons: The truck bed has a fiberglass shell, so if it gets hit the paint gets spider cracks.
